Maybe we could all gather our old clappers and try and inspire some kind of energy around the KP ..  something .. anything! Desperate times.. desperate measures..

Last chance saloon looming..💙

If we just let Chelsea play like we did Arsenal it might be the first time in years I just give up on it and go for a walk round the park or something. It's stressing me out too much now. Thanks Brendan

Me and my girlfriend going... bad news she's Chelsea fan. She's promised to not jump in the air if that lot score.

I think we might actually win this... 1-0 Leicester.

Start Cags and have him clear Fofana out on every corner.  Leave him in until he gets booked for it.

Rodger’s has nipped the countering in the bud after the Spurs game. I don’t expect anything different from him. Slow passing around the back, fullbacks won’t even make a forward pass let alone get out of our half. They will press and we’ll blast the ball at our midfield in panic who will lose it and they will score.  This could describe most games we have lost.

Even if we do get the lead, Rodger’s will just switch to ultra defensive tactics of letting the team absorb constant pressure by much more skilful players. Let the opposition walk through the midfield into a congested defence where our defenders will just clear it to the opposition to slide in and finish.

I think we’ll win 3-1. 😂🧐

My expectations of this game are low.  I keep telling myself I don't give a sh!t anymore but it's not true - just wish I could go into a weekend with some hope of entertainment.  I'm not bothered if we don't win but I'd like to at least believe we could and I haven't felt like that in over a year.

Do we match them up with 3 atb?  I can see us having a problem with their spare CB pushing forward into midfield if we don’t have two up top

I can see us with a back 3 if Barnes isn't fit. Two strikers are needed. Route one. Over the top.

Look how much space there is in behind here.

Please don't shoot the messenger but....if we were to stick to 4-3-3 without Barnes and move Tete to LW people are expecting Praet to come in RW but I saw a Rodgers quote from a few weeks back regarding Ricardo's comeback giving us more options, not in the context as you might presume of having him as a potential RW but Castagne with Ricardo RB and Thomas I suppose LB. It's something he's done to see games out in the past and wouldn't be my option but don't be surprised if you arrive Saturday to find Castagne is one of the front 3! At home. In a game we need to win. And Thomas playing. Sorry.

Rather we go 3 at the back (which I think our illustrious leader will do) than play Praet on the left wing.

I would take a point in any style of performance just to stop the rot. 3 obviously would be a massive result but wouldn't hold my breath.

We are due a couple of good games taking us a step forward before the inevitable 2 backwards with this clown so you never know.

Hopefully Rodgers will be put out by Potter taking his mantle of flavour of the month British manager at a top club and will try and put him in his place.

I worry about this game. Let’s face it, not many of us have faith we can get anything from this game. If we start poorly or concede an early goal, tensions round the stadium will rise and so will frustration. This will go onto the pitch with players not wanting to make a mistake, or getting criticised when they do. It could turn quite nasty. And with many of us wanting Rodgers out, it doesn’t seem a good mix to be playing a Chelsea side that will be upbeat from their win in the Champions League.

Missing Tielemens and Barnes is a blow with no one really there to replace them. Kristiansen, will be missed, great signing he was! Tete doesn’t look good, back line with no real pace. If they man mark Maddison, then that’s our flare gone.

I hope I’m wrong, but it’s a game I’m personally dreading. Relegation is a very high possibility.

We need to pick-up form and fast…somehow!

Not forgetting Danny Wards preposterous goal keeping allowing soft goals in !
