This situation needs resolving, it stinks the place out, my method would be to squirt some bleach all over then whack with a stiff brush with the hope of breaking up into several pieces. But as to what to do about your turd blockage I’m not so sure.

If this appointment isn't a success he's got nowhere to turn. Near on 3 months to find a manager after 2 years of downturn and mismanagement. There's no Rodgers to blame and all the high profile players will be gone. This is on him.
