JUST DO IT

Leicester defender James Justin ‘wanted by Roma after impressing boss Jose Mourinho

ROMA are eyeing Leicester ace James Justin ahead of the summer transfer window, reports suggest.

The Giallorossi manager Jose Mourinho is looking for defensive reinforcement for next season and rates Justin highly.

According to CalcioMercato, the Serie A giants have met with CAA Stellar, which is the agency that represents the right-back.

The company has a clientele that also includes other Roma transfer targets, such as Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat and Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

During that meeting between the two parties, Justin's name arose as a potential prospect.

And Mourinho was very impressed with the England international last season when Leicester and Roma met in the Europa Conference League.

The Portuguese tactician watched the 25-year-old in action during the semi-finals, which saw the Special One's players knock the Premier League outfit out.

And Roma are keen to make a move, despite the defender's recent injury woes.

The Romans are hoping they can agree a cut-price deal with Leicester due to Justin's fitness struggles and club's potential relegation.

That is why Roma are planning a €20million (£17.8m) bid for the ex-Luton star.

...if we stay up, we could look to bring in Jeremie Frimpong!!!

At £30m he will be the Ricardo that we should have had if not for injuries. He is relentless, does not look to go down and stays on his feet does not matter what any one do against him.

Frimpong will join a club much bigger than us in the summer; he's got all the top European teams trying to sign him.

I reckon we should test Man Citys resolve and put in a bid for Haaland.

If we drop there will be carnage and the likes of JJ won’t be able to be hung on too - so sad watch us get stripped of the few gems we have like JJ. He has just had two really unfortunate injuries but probably our most talented full back if we could retain him I would at all cost!

This is the problem, with relegation we'll be picked apart and it's totally the club's fault that we are in this position.

It seems the only difference between getting picked apart is perspective. Everyone agrees a rebuild is needed, we will only get a rebuild with money in. The better players sell for more money which allows more funds for the rebuild.

if we get relegated, we won’t get the rebuild some are expecting.  For a start we will need to balance the books and a whole host of talent will leave simply to do that. Even with a relegation clause, we’ll have a huge wage deficit we’ll need to rectify. Parachute pavements are only a fraction of  regular prem payments so King Power will sell anyone who has any king of significant value.  We’ll be shopping in the 1st div/ championship for hot young talent instead of Europe.

I seen something about the finances before the Leicester v Brighton game in January. The Brighton fan who had a grasp apparently on football finances was asked by the Leicester fan, if Leicester were to be relegated how badly financially would it hit the club. The answer was although it wouldn’t be good, it wouldn't be as catastrophic as some make out. It may explain why Top didn't act sooner to get rid of Rogers sooner when all evidence was that it wasn't going to turn around.
