Of course it is, every element of media around the game brings attention to every little decision made because it generates controversy. People who have no interest in the other 14 teams in the league will take an interest in the likes of Wolves, Bournemouth, Luton etc because fans have a shared feeling of being hard done by from officials.

Look at the moaning above, like it or not, that VAR decision is consistent with near enough every other offside VAR decision where some random body part is off by a mm or so. It’s crap but why allow that one now when other teams have had so many go against them? Just so it stops Arsenal challenging for the league?

Its been a great start to a game, there’s no need for that VAR decision to be a talking point because there’s no controversy around it, but you know for sure it will be the talking point.

Of course had there been no VAR and it been given someone would have talked about if it was offside.

They did that with one of the goals last night in the Championship game.

Arsenal near perfect end to the season but unfortunately Manchester City will once again win the title. Pep has a strangle hold on this league.

I'd like to see Arsenal win it. Hopefully Man City drop points somewhere.

Whoa. Arsenal absolutely clinical and those set pieces make me dread facing them next season.

Set piece guru,

right lads wip the ball into the box and get your head on it

We joke but our guys can barely get it past the first man or avoid the keeper

Exactly we have seen it with the Leeds goal this week as well at Boro. I’d much rather mistakes made without VAR but it’s getting pretty boring when we drag up the same old stick to beat VAR with regards to these minimal offsides when it’s been the same the whole way through. Take the Coventry goal as an example, was it gutting for them, yes I’m sure it was, was it controversial as many people made out? Not in the slightest, it’s just the same as every other toenail offside.

Was hoping for a closer game and for spurs to de-rail Arsenals title hopes. Who’d have thought it, a Tottenham side letting people down when the heat is on

My Tottenham supporting boss been saying Maddison getting a fair bit of stick from the fans at the moment, you can see why. Can’t imagine he’ll be in the England squad for the Euros.

He'll be in the squad, but he'll be getting splinters in his arse again like at the World Cup.

Maddison is a very good player but still has traits that annoy fans. As mentioned, the diving, the slowing down of attacks and trying to do too much on his own.

On form, he's great. Off it, he doesn't do enough.

Does well to foul him when Kulusevski trips over his own feet

It’s pretty obvious Trossard clipped Kulusevski which made him trip himself.
