I always thought Fofana had a really strange gait for a footballer whenever watching him play. Probably counts for nothing but he looked very fragile, for want of a better word.

His injuries were always an issue, sad to say it but we did well to get the money we did for him

That pre-season knee injury probably never healed up. I imagine he'll need more surgery on it.

Shame, the lad really looked like he had it all..

3/4 of the players we sold to Chelsea turned out to be sick notes. Could argue the same for Ngolo of the last couple seasons.

Does anyone really think Kane is going to Munich? If he wins the Bundesliga nobody will care as it is a) abroad and b) they win it all the time without him.  At this point of his career, would he not be better to sign a new contract at Spurs and chasing Shearer's top goal scorer record?

Not if he wants to play in the Champions League.

He has my sympathy because of how bad the injury itself is and can't be pleasant, but how lucky were we to get so much money out of Chelsea for him?!

Indeed. obviously was disappointed in how he acted at the end, but at the same time gutted for him he’s experienced such a significant injury again.

Any sensible club after he had such an injury with us, would have waited to see how he got on with us first and assessed from there before throwing that much away

Via the Chelsea forum, Fofana made his instagram private and his wife apparently deleted all pictures of them together before eventually making her account private also.

Seems its all kicking off for him.....shame

Imagine having an entire career without winning a major trophy. Imagine being asked by your son "you were all time leading goal scorer dad, but did you ever win a trophy in your career"

Alan Shearer least can say he's won a premier league winners medal.
