Quite a few Leeds fans are properly fearing ending up in the playoffs.

They've got a poor record in them. How amusing will it be if they failed to be promoted after losing in the semis or final. Stuck in the Championship another season...

Do you live in West London? My other half managed to get hold of some tickets.

No I live the other side of London but its only an hour by train and would have been worth it to see us get promoted live if leeds lose

I think they will finish 2nd , but just on goal difference.

I think.Leeds will be fine for 2nd place, they have enough for qpr I think, and I can't see Southampton putting up any resistance judging by last night, Ipswich will be the ones to fall away I think

I see that it says Essex  I'd sooner have watched it in the pub and I've seen more QPR games than Leicester recently.

Reading Sky Blues Talk they all seem to think they are guaranteed promotion next season

Penny hasn't dropped on them that are in a forever cycle of cashing in on players every summer and have to rebuild their squad.

They need to majorly improve their inconsistency. Not many teams for example have had three put past them by Birmingham,

im unsure on Leeds and Ipswich atm, think if Leeds win friday i'll go with them to go into the auto's; anything less then i'd probably go with Ipswich but I guess the marker will be how they get on at Hull saturday night, they dont win that then id say advantage leeds

but its all woulda coulda atm, ideal world, leeds lose, ipswich lose

The difficult question is if Southampton prefer Ipswich or Leeds to drop in the PO roulette. I believe Leeds will be more devastated if they end up in PO. Ipswich will probably play with the same intensity and enthusiasm.

those ipswich games look very tricky. I’d expect Leeds to win their remaining games now. Southampton aren’t going to want them in the playoffs, they’re hardly going to work to put them there

Or lost to QPR, Plymouth and Millwall:thumbup:

I agree. If Coventry beat Hull tonight, they'll both still be in with a chance of the play-offs, with Ipswich to face both. There's also a chance Huddersfield will be fighting for their lives as well on the last day.

Hull to win tonight please- still in with a decent shout by the time they play Ipswich, if so- Cov will seem a lot further away from catching Norwich if they win on Saturday.

To be fair, I can see it happening within the next couple of years. They seem to be a club that are heading in the right direction.

It only lasts as long as Robins is there imo. I can see a lower Prem/top end champ team coming in for him soon.

Be very interesting to see what happens when they eventually lose Robins as well

Been easier for them to replace players when you have a manager in place for so long as you know exactly what they want

Leeds are garbage at the back but upfront they do have the best attacking players in the league, Ipswich are decent but quality isn't as good, they have far better opponents, i thought Hull was one of the best sides we've played, and Cov are very good, I just can't see them getting 4 or 6 points, whereas i can see us and Leeds getting those points

Yeah they’re recruiting well. Other than O’Hare, I’m not sure who they’d lose in the summer.

I honestly think that neither Leeds or Southampton will be successful in the Play-offs.  I would still fancy Ipswich.  But I think Leeds and Southampton will blow the playoffs, they will both be under huge pressure compared to the other teams.  Neither seem to handle pressure well.

Hoping for Hull personally. Cov might be out of the play off running by the Ipswich game anyway whereas Hull win guarantees they are at least still in it by their Ipswich game.
