Leeds Will probably do it but I fancy Southampton. Going to be a tough playoffs this year, possibly the strongest for a while… hard to call glad we got the job done 2
Popular Post Jattdogg Posted 4 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 May 2024 Well done to ipswich! Congratulations on an incredible season. 11
Bilo Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 This just had the same vibes as the 4-1 loss to Brighton when the team was clearly still hanging like Saddam on YouTube. 1 2

The Doctor Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 @Pub breath how we doing, from six points clear at the end of August to 7 clear at the end of the season. Must be gutting to lose the "best team since August" trophy like that 2 2

No. This is how we play normally. Apart from the last two games, this is pretty much consistent with how it has been for us this half season. We have no second gear when we need to chase a game. The key is that Blackburn took advantages of the mistakes we made, which we have often gotten away with in the Championship. I don’t see us having played any poorly than normal. 1
Jobyfox Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 I know we’ve gone up as Champions and ultimately that’s all that matters, but it feels a bit disappointing not to get to 100 points from where we were. We fell over the line and it all just feels a bit more “meh!” than it really should do. It’s done and now we move on. The challenge of the Premier League will be a big one given our PSR/FFP position. Let’s embrace it.

Popular Post The Bear Posted 4 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 May 2024 Bluenoses got everything they deserved after sacking Eustace when in 6th place for the potato headed moron. Worst footballing decision ever. 8
STUHILL Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 Wow, seriously impressive season by Ipswich! I posted countless times that they would likely fall away. I stand corrected. As for Leeds and Southampton... 4
Popular Post dmayne7 Posted 4 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 May 2024 So chuffed for Ipswich. Thought they'd be in the playoff mix but what they've done is incredible. One of my best mates supports them and they just seem like one of those very decent clubs 5
dmayne7 Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 Also, no idea why people think it's such a shock about Leeds and Southampton. Leeds had a good first season in the prem then circled the drain, whereas Saints were just doing that for years. The gulf in quality between us and them when we went down was massive, just our awful mentality. 2
Trent Steel Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 Right all done enjoy it everyone! Now we start thinking about how we stay up and who should go or stay Now watching Florist game hoping for a blades win
Popular Post Tom12345 Posted 4 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 May 2024 5 trophies and a relegation in a decade. Never a dull moment. 7
urban fox Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 If man City do the double we may get another crack at the community shield
Foxdiamond Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 How many here certain when we went down that promotion was guaranteed. I wasn't so let's just enjoy the moment
HankMarvin Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 The irony of Blackburn turning to Eustace and Birmingham getting relegated 1
Number 6 Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 Lineker will be writing his very long list of Ed Sheeran puns for Ipswich next season. Gonna be cringe. That aside, I'm very happy for Ipswich.
