It’s those chilled chiselled face looks, those soul deep commanding eyes.

That confident strings attached swagger…

Its got to be take no shit..” Captain Scarlet”….We get more than meets the eye.

Can anyone please answer this question.

We play our first match of the season in under 72 hours; who is the captain of Leicester City Football Club?

Thanks.

Doubt the club or Enzo would want to commit to who the captain is when there is still a month of the window left and if whoever it is could still leave or we could get someone in more suitable

Probably be Vardy for now if he is starting

Captains in pre-season have been:

Vardy and Ndidi vs Peterborough

Vardy and Albrighton vs Northampton

Vardy and Albrighton vs Leuven

Choudhury vs Port FC

Ricardo vs Liverpool

Should be Coady though

I've always though the captains armband was more of a symbolic gesture. Doesn't matter who has it on their arm, the true leaders will always shine through on the pitch anyway whether they have a pretty little armband or not

I mean who was our captain last season? There is the captain in the dressing room/training ground, the captain on the pitch, and the captain visible to the fans. Can't say we had one last season either.

Coady, if not fit then Ricardo. Vardy isn’t a captain, just because you’ve been at the club for a long time and are committed on the pitch, it doesn’t make you a natural leader. It’s the same sentiment with Dewsbury-Hall.

Vardy should be captain - last season, think he will play more games than people think, and is easily the most experienced player in the squad.

Aside from showing absolutely no signs of leadership ability and having a groin that can ping at any second, he's an excellent choice :D

Aslong as there's no bullshit "Leadership Group"....with no leaders.

I trust Maresco won't have an elite/senior/influential clique seeking to tell him his job or trying to curry favours. That's the sign of weak leadership.
