Confirms he overstated his value. Cant imagine the signing on fee is that astronomical and he doesn't even get champions league football.

Guess he gets to stay local and as you said, takes a side ways step

He's a great technical footballer but I genuinely think he's going to struggle to break into that side. Kamara and Luiz are head and shoulders above him and are guaranteed starters, so it's then between him and McGinn, however they'll lose a lot of energy in the centre of the park if they drop McGinn for Tielemans so I can only see him being used against the weaker sides in the league.

I don’t know about a side way step. He was sinking with us but got a lifeline given his contract situation.

Let it go, time will tell whether he is as good as he thinks he is and Rogers ball knocked it out of him, or he's just average with 5 worldie goals a season in him.

He's been crap for two years but masked it with a few worldie goals in between, when he arrived here he used to run games but he hasn't been that player for an age.

Quite funny really that he wouldn't sign a new contract for us two years ago and ended up taking a downward step from the 2020/2021 Leicester.

What a fall from grace.

6 months as what seemed like a world class player, about a year and a half being very, very good, then two years eating pies whilst sharing the occasional banger with us.

He’ll be happy with that. European football at a side who is chasing to be regular top 6. He’s not a top 4 player and that’s why he’s ended up there.

Isn't that what he had here though, when we offered him another contract 2 years ago, that he wouldn't sign. He thought he would get a champions league club, instead he's ended up with another version of what we were. Well done Youri, maybe if he could have gave a f**k in the last 2 seasons he might have got his dream move, instead he has had to settle for more of what he had. Berk!
