Popular Post EastAnglianFox Posted 16 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 June 2023 Id take him just in the hope we gave him the number 40 shirt 1 5

Him and Tom Cairney would be great at this level. That sentence made me feel a bit sick. Sounds like successful football manager additions rather than real life. 2
ScotFox1 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Winks.. is that a cheeky gesture or a 'past sell-by date' donkey?
st albans fox Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Decent player and more than capable of controlling games in the championship it’s a yes from me but I think he would get a PL offer from a club willing to pay more than we can afford (Bournemouth, Fulham, palace ) would depend if he was willing to take the chance of having a lower salary for several seasons if we stayed down 1
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 I’m surprised people are shooting this down, I think he will be a very tidy player in the championship
weller54 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Ffs.. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! 2
roblcfc84 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Shocked people wouldn’t take Winks in the championship. More than capable and an upgrade on the likes of Hamza.

Because he's s**t, you ever seen him play for Spurs .....all he does is back pass..... remembered watching Spurs v Everton and he was atrocious, truly awful trying to tackle.
Phenom Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 He would probably be decent in the Championship but don’t want him if we get promoted. So maybe a loan?

Obviously I’ve seen him play and he’d do a job for us next season. I remember when Luke shaw was linked a few years ago and loads of people on this forum said the same thing. Then he went and had a blinding season and scored in euro final
Wymsey Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 (edited) He's steady, but very average. Not a player to have, if the club is looking towards being a top-six PL side at some point. Edited 16 June 2023 by Wymsey
Popular Post boosmanana Posted 16 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 June 2023 Winks is far far better than either KDH or Hamza and also far far more comfortable on the ball than either of them. I think he'd do well as part of a midfield 3 3 2
MPH Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 If we were allowed to Nickname him Nudge, I’d be well up for this.
Dan Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 This just seems like a like for like replacement for Praet. Nah.
Sly Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 If we’d have had Winks last season, he’d have started more games than Soumare. 1
suffolk fox Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 Wouldnt be against this, if true. Spurs supporting mate rates Winks highly and states he is underused at Spurs.

mozartfox Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 Just typed his name in a text message on my phone and auto correct changed the spelling of his family name. Enough said on this.
ARTY_FOX Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 He'd be fine for a season in the championship. Wouldnt want to be lumbered with him for years in the prem though.
