FoxesWalk Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 (edited) Why would it be so difficult? Another club interested? Or more likely, he wants too much money and/or we want too much money? He claimed earlier in the week Sevilla want a loan deal with an option to buy and the player wants Sevilla. Edited 28 August 2023 by FoxesWalk

FrankieADZ Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 soumare will be gone before the window closes, more than likely off to Spain on loan
CrazyKopCorner Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 Get rid in whatever capacity that takes - A complete and utter waste of a squad number 3
happy85 Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 The French pivot Soumaré goes one step further and refuses to go anywhere other than #SevillaFC . It has the player's yes, #Leicester asks that it be mandatory or at least to pay the annual amortization of the soccer player. Sevilla would keep the player's file, hot operation 🔥 Via Paco Cepeda.
Paninistickers Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 If he doesn't go at his wish, then if I had my way it's reporting duties only for this season. 8.30am Monday to Friday at Seagrave, clock in then fck off.

moore_94 Posted 29 August 2023 Posted 29 August 2023 https://sportwitness.co.uk/dof-using-players-wishes-leicester-transfer-negotiation-speeding-efforts-poor-start/ DoF using player’s wishes against Leicester in transfer negotiation – Speeding up efforts after poor start Sevilla director of football Victor Orta is using Boubakary Soumaré’s desire to join the club to convince Leicester City into accepting his proposal for the player. That’s according to Diario de Sevilla, who say the Leicester midfielder ‘has already convinced himself’ to join the Seville club and that ‘trick’ is the one Orta is playing in his negotiations with the Foxes. He’s keen to add a defensive midfielder to his squad before the end of the window but has so far found Leicester resistant to the deals he has offered. They would seemingly prefer to sell the player on a permanent basis and raise funds rather than sanction a loan deal, which Orta would prefer. With Soumaré having made it clear he wants Sevilla, though, it appears he now wants to use that to his advantage and ‘try to wrestle’ a loan deal with a purchase option included. Either way, Mundo Deportivo report that the Sevilla ‘try to accelerate’ their plans in the market in an attempt to repair the bad feeling from the club’s poor start to the season. The Spanish side are bottom of the table without any points, the worst league start in their history, and the hope is new signings can repair some of the damage. Adding defensive strength is key and Orta is determined to ‘close the loan’ of Boubakary Soumaré from Leicester. According to Mundo, the midfielder has made it clear he doesn’t want to continue after relegation to the Championship. Manager Jose Luis Mendilibar ‘waits’ for new arrivals and Orta ‘must hurry’ to get him because of the poor feelings at the club, suggesting there is a busy week ahead for Leicester. 1

I was wondering what had gone so wrong at Sevilla. I didn't realise they'd replaced Monchi with Orta ****ing hell, disaster merchant.
Simmo86 Posted 29 August 2023 Posted 29 August 2023 Considering Victor Ortas previous negotiations we should be pretty good here

Finnegan Posted 29 August 2023 Posted 29 August 2023 The difference being Leeds had Premier League silly money to throw around and waste. Sevilla don't.
lcfc278 Posted 29 August 2023 Posted 29 August 2023 How did he manage to get the Sevilla job after Leeds? They mut be desperate. I'd be prepared to take a hit on Soumare just to get rid of him. After his performance against Blackburn last season he should never have wore the shirt again. Had such high hopes after watching his first couple of appearances, thought we'd signed a Rolls-Royce of a player, but rather than work hard to adapt to the PL it was almost like he just gave up and resigned himself to leaving. 1

If they want Soumare for his defensive strength they're going to be in for one hell of a shock! Drop the fee by £5m and try to get them to sign up for a mandatory purchase after the loan. But if that can't be done just get him shipped out.
Jock's Hill Posted 29 August 2023 Posted 29 August 2023 Sell (for whatever we can get for him). NO LOAN!! Except our mistake and move on. We have so many new exciting players to follow now. 😀😀

They've Champions League money and just sold their keeper for £20m too. They seem to be paying £10-15m for players which should be what we'd accept for Soumare, at the very least a sizeable loan fee + option.
