What Enzo has done with this lot in this pretty much a disaster of pre season is borderline genius work.

 

Cant help but be excited if we manage to get some better attacking players in what we’ll be capable of this season.

Some of the passages of play are looking really good, the diagonal balls from the CBs are really quite impressive

I am having this big time - if this is the new world I’m massively on board - it’s gonna take some time and we still need more creativity in attacking areas no doubt but this is very very nice to watch and I mean very nice - honestly best 20 mins iv seen from us in many a moon - maresca 👏👏👏

First time I've watched us under Maresca. We look tidy. Keeper, defence and midfield all look good, really like the Winks/Pereira double pivot.

An attacking midfielder and a winger and we'll do fine.

He was the same last season on RL, given he still knows some of the players at the club you're going to get little to no insight from him. He also doesn't care like Piper does.

I'm genuinely amazed how quickly everyone's picked it up. Reflects very well on Enzo but can we also take a minute to say a big fvck you to everyone who tried to make out our players weren't technical enough or smart enough or whatever "enough" to play Rodgers football? 

 

Or any other of the hundred excuses for why possession football wasn't productive under the last manager.
