Was better when he went central but his performance for 78 mins was probably the most aimless I've ever seen from a wide player. Even when he beat his man he then did it without any idea of what he was going to next. He should be benched for the rest of the season but made worse by the fact that Monga doesn't even get on the pitch, so that's not happening.

Confidence is a massive thing for a player like Mavididi but the facts are i think he has scored two goals and had one assist in Englands 2nd tier, playing in a position that he needs to be scoring double figures and creating plenty. Fatawu who many have been moaning isnt MOM every game on the other wing has 9 goals and 7 assists. Those stats highlight how poor Mavididi has been. Running around and looking all action with no end product at this level isnt good enough.

Absolutely disgraceful first half. I've actually stuck up for his defensive work as well (it's more his decision making defensively that makes it look like he's not trying) but he's left Thomas exposed loads whilst pissing the ball away every time he has it.

I know bdcr isn’t exciting, but I genuinely think he’s done more in 5 mins than stephy in about 10 games. I’d much prefer less flare and better link up play

Put him as striker, and then can also play both Mukasa and James.

 

Manager needs the balls to play a not natural striker up front.

He's had more than enough chances. 90% of the time he gives the ball away, has no end product and is basically dog turd. He really shouldn't be anywhere near the 1st team.
