Absolutely superb, showed massive bollocks to bounce back after last weeks mistake. Shows a great mentality and is a very very good keeper, bloody love him and really hope this is his break out season.

He was superb.  His distribution was, however, horrific at times.  Something to work on.

If anyone was questioning him being no.1 you won’t be now

Saving ability is quality, but his passing decisions need to be much better

Distribution does need improving but I'd rather my goalkeeper make saves like he does all game today rather than be able to ping a 45 yard ball right onto a players foot or chest.

This all day long. He's a old school keeper and in this league a perfectly good one to have. I really like how calm he always looks.

Top performance

His short passing looked fine but I think it was 3 or 4 long passes that went straight out for a throw in second half

This. He is comfortable under pressure with his feet and they can trust to play back to him playing out of the back. He is also comfortable playing that ball to the central midfielder. Right now i would sooner have these attributes than a good long ball. I think that will come in time (and Mads long balls were not particularly great as well).

Good Lord, can you imagine how many they would have had with Ward in goal. Doesn't bare thinking about.

One amazing save and several other very good saves. The one on the line from the corner was pure reflex. Like others have said, he really does well at claiming balls from corners.

if his only knock is some long passes go into touch I think we can more than live with that, even if they do go out it gets the ball up the pitch and relieves pressure, not a bad thing

100%. And 2 massive pluses:

- Whilst he's not perfect at it, for a modern keeper he's bloody good at dealing with corners and crosses. Won't have many more threatening teams to deal with in that regard and for the most part, he made some excellent claims and punches with next to no protection.

- Other thing is that it shows a brilliant mentality to bounce back from the mistake last week with the pressure of being no 1, the general malaise around the club.

Well observed on the mentality. He made a honking error last weekend but showed real grit to play as well as he did today, he could have gone the other way and crumbled. As others have observed his distribution is a work in progress, but not awful. He played with a confidence that gave confidence to those in front of him.

Well played Jakub 👏👏👏

Really good keeper full of confidence as well.

A few months ago people said he wasn't good with his feet, if you watched him today then he has already made it look easy

You can’t have everything in a keeper. His distribution is fine, not perfect but the rest of his game more than makes up for it.

We lived with exactly that for 11 years….

Yeah but that guy wasn't very good according to some on here. Oh, and I think people forget the amount of goals that came from his long passes either directly as an assist or starting a counter attack.

Immense today but his kicking, distribution and ability with the ball worries me in a Marti team.

Kasper wasn't very good at crosses and I'm not sure he was that good with his short passing either, his presence did add a hell of a lot though
