No blame on the player whatsoever for me and the victim of circumstance.

Shame we dont see how he grows with us as I was looking forward that but if we clearly arent going to use him its a fair move for all concerned.

Maresca has made it clear that he has no place for a traditional left back so it makes sense for those players to depart. The issue will come if Maresca fails then a more traditional formation coach will have few resources. So far his plan is working.

This one makes me helluva nervous. No direct cover for Doyle seeing as even IF Thomas stayed, he doesn't fit the role.

Sure, JJ could prob do a job there but JJ is also cover for RB and RCB so when he inevitably gets injured, we are short all the way along our back line.

Hopefully we have a replacement in mind but for some reason, I don't see it.

I wonder if Doyle is out then Ricardo switches to the left and the RCB/RB 'stays at home'. Would be a more feasible option when Coady's back and/or we bring in THB or A.N. Other.

I don't think THB solves the matter. Needs to be a left sided CB if anything.

It just seems we've complicated the matter. Ofcoutse, we don't know if VK wanted to move or that but it's a strange one.

It'll be because he's just signed a length Premier League contract and the cut from that will probably be quite significant isnt it? Then they pay some of that for a year and he signs a lesser deal than the one he has now or we pay some of his wages going forward?

Anyway it'll be because of the length of the deal he signed with us.

Because there was so many individual and collective failures that resulted in the most avoidable relegation of all time.

And Glover only arrived in January. So as I said how do you blame him? Most of what was done in January was already sorted before he arrived and for Rodgers needs not Enzo.

Wouldn’t bet on it unless he’s incredible. Buying him would just be about 250% larger than their current largest transfer. Just saw Sky say £30m buy option - they will never exercise that.

If it’s a typo and it turns out the fee is £13m, then he would be their second largest ever transfer.

Yeah I saw that too, mentioned on The Guardian's transfer tracker. £30m is definitely not right 😅.

Always baffles me why so few bundesliga clubs come after players like this. Always eye-tye garbage trying to cheapskate their way in.

I'm super disappointed on lots of angles. I thought he had lots of raw promise. His attitude seemed good. It was nice to have some physicality in a team full of the weak. Plus helkuave lot of scouting and research and sales pitch and negotiation went into his acquisition. All those man hours. Wasted.

This is a bit of a shame really but if he isn't going to play it makes sense - that future fee is funny, absolutely not a prayer they're paying that so he'll be back here in a year, changes the context of the deal quite a bit from what we originally thought.

Suppose that fee is in there so is if he does well it sets a benchmark for other teams to come in.

Not disappointed at all. Always thought he looked rushed. I'd be prepared to give him time based on his age, but based on last season's performances from VK, Thomas is a better bet for me.

Sounds like there is not a permanent purchase option, which is interesting if true.

Bologna site says there IS an option to buy.

Bologna Fc 1909 announces that it has acquired from Leicester City Fc the right to the sporting services of defender Victor Kristiansen on a temporary basis until 30 June 2024 with an option for permanent acquisition.

Were you basing that on what our site said. You're better than that Strider! Like those fuchers are going to be transparent with us lol

He did really well for his first match, provided 2 assists and won a penalty that his teammate missed.

The Italian press were impressed with him as his team were a goal behind and they went on to win 2-1

Partly delighted for him but will be  livid if he goes on to have a great season.

Give me 11 good players over good (or new fangled) systems any time.
