I remember when Roberto Carlos scored that amazing free kick for Brazil at Le Tournoi, then spent the rest of his career tw@tting free kicks 10 yards off target.

You need to checkout some compilation videos then. Man was a beast.

49 direct free-kicks scored in his career. It's very impressive. Until you discover that he had a career conversion rate of 4.5%. Meaning he will have taken over 1000 direct free-kicks in his career. A compilation video of him smashing free-kicks into Row Z would be nearly 22 times longer in duration.

This guy can play down the flanks, could be groomed to play

A top FB,or inverted FB.

His defensive attributes he’s proved sofar outstanding.

He is still a great presser, from any position he can initiate attacks

Ditto Mavididi, but I believe Fatawu is slightly better defender, and still

an inexperienced player still learning his own skills, but needing to

learn to see his teammate positions…

Fans also have to be patient to our 2 flankers, after some collective

dizzy runs or just pressing, they will need to take short breathers.

Last 2 games Fatawu has chased more the byeline,if he picks up that

annoying skill of Albrighton,of consistently putting dangerous balls

into/across the central area of the box…

We have a great future matured-player..

Sounds impressively bad until you factor in range, angle, and comparison to similar strikes. Show me that video.

IF we get promoted and it triggers the obligation to buy, how do we actually afford him lol

5 year contract so the fee will be amortised. Then he goes for 90 mil in 2 seasons time.

Does an awful lot of defending, system makes it harder for him

Do think this is probably true for his lack of goals - it's my main criticism of his but he does almost play like a wing back at times.
