LVFox Posted 22 November 2023 Posted 22 November 2023 Sevilla keen on a Wilf/Soumare double pivot. Dean Smith is eyeing up flights to Spain as we speak. 1

Lambert09 Posted 22 November 2023 Posted 22 November 2023 it’s going to sting twice as hard when sevilla don’t pay for soumare because they can get wilf for free 1 1 1

I think the position Wilf currently plays is built for him. I don't expect him to pull up trees and he'll probably not amount to anything but I think it's worth a try. 3 1
MPH Posted 8 December 2023 Posted 8 December 2023 More stories about Ndidi to Barcelona in January.. https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barca-mantiene-abierta-opcion-ndidi-95594466
cruzFOX Posted 9 December 2023 Posted 9 December 2023 I don’t like all this chatter about wilf the club should negotiate a sale in the summer. We need wilfy right now to get us promoted. The Spanish contingent can bloody well wait

Foxin_Mad Posted 11 December 2023 Posted 11 December 2023 Wilf needs to be careful. He has shown that under a doggo manager like Brenda he can become absolutely rubbish. Enzo has brought out the best in him, now is potentially a good time to continue to evolution. 1
davieG Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 https://sportwitness.co.uk/director-turns-attention-second-leicester-player-solve-summer-problem-pushing-seal-deal-competition/ Director turns attention to second Leicester player to solve summer problem – Pushing to seal deal before competition By Sean Lunt - 8th March 2024 SHARE Sevilla director of football Victor Orta has turned his attention to Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi, with Boubakary Soumare likely to be too expensive. That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla, who cover information from journalist Fernando Serrano, who insists Orta is pushing to get Ndidi on a free transfer. They explain that the midfield is one of the most important positions being looked at by Sevilla in the summer and while they want to sign Soumare, who is currently on loan at the club from Leicester, his €15m purchase clause is too high. Thus, Victor Orta has instead turned his attention to another player at the club and is ‘going to go after’ Ndidi instead. That’s because he’s set to be available on a free transfer in the summer after making a decision not to sign a new deal with Leicester. He’s been having a great season in the Championship with them this year and Orta is now ‘pushing’ to get him signed to a deal ahead of potential competition. Whether he will be successful in that attempt remains to be seen, with Ndidi surely set to have numerous suitors, but it seems he will be attempting to win the race in the coming months. 1
sdb Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 Incredible. You can have your shit player back now. Oh and we'll take your decent one instead...for free 1
MPH Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 We have more reasons to go to war with Sevilla now than The United States did with Afghanistan. 1 1
coolhandfox Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 Can't see Wilf going there, he will have a number of suitors.
st albans fox Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 it’s not really a transfer thread now though ………. another good player leaving for nowt how do we overoay wages so much and still see players leaving for nothing !
BKLFox Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 Sevilla are 14th in a very weak Spanish league why the fec would he go there 🤷♂️ he is far far better than Sevilla 1

Think a nice big signing on fee is more appealing than a good career move sadly 1

Also, we don't really know how old he is. Is that because he was a poor player or poor because what he was asked to do by Rodgers? Using that as a maxim, then arguably we haven't got many, if any players for the Premiership. Currently when uninjured, he's one of our best players this year. Like most of our players, he declined drastically under the last manager whereas under Enzo, arguably he, Vestergaard, KDH and Ricardo have improved again.
