It wasn't shoddy really.

People just underestimated QPR

It was a good away performance.

Sorry yeah they're class. I just ran the numbers again and they probably will be a premier league team next season.

I feel so silly for underestimating the poorest team in the league thats also in the midst of an injury crisis

I do feel silly youre right.

Travelled from Leeds to Boro to play today so missed the build up, game and post match (and had a fair few beers).

Would anyone be kind enough to summarise in a reply?

:scarf:

IMO...

Was the most untidy weve been this year, QPR were running a lot and our passing was not up to its normal very high level. Our two wingers were very exciting again but still lack a little in the final moments.

Somewhat lucky fist goal for Mavididi,  took a deflection and lobbed the keeper... absolute belter from Winks for the 2nd, 20 yards out curled into the top corner, beautiful celebration with him and the fans. Fatawu got on of theirs sent off by causing him to rugby tackle him.

All in all, even at 1-1 my confidence in "New Leicester" had me believing we would win, i dont think i ever felt a loss was on the cards.

* All of this based on a VERY choppy stream

See QPR have sacked Ainsworth after this defeat.

Thought they deserved a draw to be honest.

Hope we play a hell of a lot better on Friday.

Obviously wasn’t just  based on their performance yesterday but seems a funny time to do as such .

Unless they have been in talks with someone and were waiting for that deal to happen ?

Cracking goals btw.

Not sure QPR could complain about the red card really.

Definitely worthy of 2 bookings .

So many questions in one sentence. But great excuse to miss a match!!!

After circling the falls we flew to Toronto and buzzed the cn tower. But the best bit was jumping around the warplane museum with arms raised celebrating our win at QPR. Priorities right?

What airport did u fly from/to, hamilton i am assuming? It has the warplane heritage musuem there and also my canadian hometown growing up. Dont live there anymore but my inlaws do (and my dad) both about 10 minutes from the airport. Its a 45 min drive from where i live now. Hope you enjoyed the flight!

Flew into Munro on Thursday......had my lunch confiscated by a nice customs bloke. I'm now in the business lounge in Toronto waiting for my train to Montreal. From there I board the ocean sleeper to Halifax. I then fly back to Toronto on Tuesday and then home via Iceland on Thursday.

Ricardo, Winks, KDH and Fatawu all 1 yellow away from a ban now

Makes it interesting... IF we see all 3 needing to take the one game ban at the same time...

At least one Acedemy player to be slipped in.

But can we cover for 1-3+ games??

# Ricardo, We can cover that position & game tactic with different mix of players, even tweak in tactics.

# KDH. I Believe ditto as above, but covering the same amount of grass:dunno:  but we can cover.

# Winks.. I can think of different scenarios, depends who is available..

Praet, could IMO easy cover, but then again, I dont think he would give the team over more games, that same eye or control across the middle of the park..

IN all this, we shouldn't forget Enzo's craft.. He would tactically show his metal, to play around any problem. SO an individual  players remit, will not be missed.. Though in interviews, he would spin it differently..

There isn't an reason for fans to panic, or believe, we will implode.. Though to be fair the forum as a whole would wait & see.. but there are those infamous posters who want to put doubts over the forum.

Btw Choudhury was total bobbins and he’s not suited to that role in the slightest as he can’t take the ball on the half turn

I actually think you are splitting hairs.. He broke down ( and not the cause) also in other games, the oppositions attacks. Saved off the line, though eventual goal.. His positioning is as good as others, who have actually endangered their own goal..

We have to be careful of putting up agendas of Witch-hints, because of ones own doubts..

Choudhury so far has let no one down..

I was impressed with Ilias Chair yesterday, hoping we go back in for him in January. Would slot nicely into our squad.

Him and Paal easily their most technically accomplished players

Really impressed with Choudhury's contribution to the first goal. Lovely intricate one-touch passing, but also baiting the press in the first place and pointing to where others should pass to.

Then Mavididi for the second goal. Could've played the easy ball forward but shimmied inside and laid it off to Winks.

A narrow win but moments of quality made the difference.

QPR much better than I expected. That being said I assume their boys knew that manager was getting binned off and tried extra hard to impress whoever was watching and taking over.

Like they say it’s a king season and we’re gonna get games that aren’t pretty and maybe even down right frustrating to watch.

enzo will find a way to win it and has instilled something in these players to give them supreme belief they can still always win the game over 90 min.

we’ve all been horribly scarred by Rogers and last season. Those scars don’t go away easily. It’s not our fault that doubts creep in when the going gets tough. However we’ve seen enough to know we have a great team in the making and we will find a way that’s how good we are. #Keep the faith

Statistically they didn't deserve a draw...

I loved the abuse when we signed Kasper. "we have wasted our money on him & lonegran is better

I'll never forget some idiot on here saying something along the lines of "if I was called Banks or Shilton maybe I'd get a go in goal"

Morons.
