Sadly we don’t know that. I’d wager we absolutely had banked on getting rid of Praet, Daka, the Aussie centre back who has made such an impression I can’t remember him and probably one or two others to lose the wages.

None of us know but I keep seeing people talk about us being desperate to sell like it's fact without any evidence at all

Hard to measure. If hypothetically, we were to breach and got say a 10 point penalty, I guess it’s whether KDH’s goal contributions, overall contributions and the disruption of not properly replacing him maybe worth more than 10 points in what we could lose on the field? Just an alternative view I guess!

Let's be honest any club who took this alternative view would be Everton levels of batsh1t crazy. 

 

You can lose any player to injury or simply loss of form at any point and then you're left with a points deduction and the same problem.

I highly doubt KDH leaves in this window. 

The only way it happens is if we are in a financial mess & we want to sell, which l doubt.

Yes, he is ambitious & wants Premier league & probably European football. 

Surely, he stays with us until the summer & weighs up his options.......if we get promoted he will stay beyond the summer in my opinion.

How was this possible when 2 out the 3 have been away. Was never going to happen. Daka could end up being our saviour this season so he’s going, nacho could leave I guess but he’s still away.

In typical Whelan fashion I can see us selling KDH deadline day and lose our target because someone nipped in whilst we were fumbling looking down the sofa.

Yeah he was at the start of the season. In my own words he's also improved his decision making alot. He doesn't hold on to the ball and run into trouble so consistently anymore. 

 

Funnily enough, it's OK to critique a player and acknowledge their growth. Who knew?!

We may or may not be, there is assumptions being made just because our owners have wealth it must mean that all permitted losses are funded.

 

However the pay day loans suggest otherwise.  Remember its now someone else holding the purse strings, since Vichai's death.

Top wrote off 194m of our debt to King Power last February 

 

I think that shows his still committed don't you.

Mixed emotions here, he's having a great season after a slow start, but I still personally think he's overrated by our fans and needs to step up further to make it as a top premier league player, it could happen as he's definitely shown he's shown improvement under Enzo and should continue to improve, so I think selling him now would be a very silly decision without an immediate replacement, but £30m is a decent sum. 

The other part of this equation that I can't shake from my head at present is the amount of fans that think it would be devastating to sell him, KDH has been great, but our squad even without him should be winning this league, the fact so many seem to think losing him now would derail our season really doesn't sound like confidence in the Squad/Enzo is high. Sure KDH would be a big loss, but so big it would derail an 8 point/13GD lead over southampton?

Either way, I can't see him being sold without a replacement.
