I may have slightly over exaggerated but thr point is, he seemed to be converting very well to playing in the 8 role. Breaking the lines, creating chances, taking chances. Now he just looks lost and incapable.

I lost count the amount of times we lost the ball when trying to play it centrally too. High risk balls to congested areas to our players who are no where near strong ot technical enough to receive them. This game and the other similar games is due to Enzo and his tactics. He should recognise his way is stifling us but he won’t change it. If he went to a back 4 with overlapping fullbacks we’d get much more points than we are now.

Btw, regarding last season, I was saying we were likely to get relegated from the minute that Rodgers informed us that Danny Ward was his number one. So you got that bet wrong too.

I couldn’t watch the game as I didn’t have a stream so watch the Madrid/city goal fest! Quite an entertaining game.

tbh I though we’d get a straight forward win today. I don’t understand what happened the buzz from the last game? Where did it go? Why no fight to even get a point and not lose. Where is the urgency and separation to play each game like it’s the last one? Didn’t Enzo and KDH say this is how they are going to approach every game ?

FFS we could have pulled away today. Thank god Leeds drew. Ipswich might get 3 points tomorrow.
