Didn't Jose say midweek he wants a club low in the league who have zero chance of any future UEFA football because he never wants to play up there again?

Gotta have us in the front of his mind surely?

Not very realistic but Adi Hutter has always expressed his desire to work in the premiership. Can’t see us having a chance of getting him now he’s at Monaco but you never know.
Also Diego Martinez who has said the same about wanting to coach in England.

Many fans want a new manager. It would be interesting for a poll to be set up with possible candidates - but to include Cooper remaining. Moyes, Potter have already been mentioned. Not sure who else may be a realistic option in English or Scottish football, except for Chris Davies, (Birmingham) who is doing a pretty decent job (an assistant with BR., so links to the club).  Others with a better knowledge of European managers could suggest some names other than those mentioned.

However, although I am one who would like to see Cooper replaced, I can't see it happening with current leadership at the club

None of whom match the thickos in the boardroom check list of experience in the PL.

If we have to go with PL experience and currently out of a job, the options look to be:

Graham Potter

David Moyes

Frank Lampard

Maurizio Sarri

Rafael Benítez

Patrick Vieira

Roberto Mancini

Nothing is going to change .... Rudkin and Whelan will not have anyone who is likely to threaten their positions.. and anyone who is not willing to toe the line ... the club needs to be sold on and a clean sweep of the management and those who supposedly run the club ... but in truth we are going nowhere fast .....  get used to it

Yup Rudkin and Whelan, particularly Rudkin would never get never get such a generous package somewhere else considering he's been such a failure the last couple of years and Whelan's too has failed in the running of the club. They're just trying to protect their millions they going to earn by being employed by Leicester and know somewhere else they'll need to produce effective results else get the chop

Roger Schmidt would absolutely get us cooking. High intensity, attacking front foot football.

We'd still concede plenty yes, but I back our quality to see us get enough points to stay up.

Rafa Marquez. Currently the assistant coach for the Mexico national team.

He managed Barcelona’s youth team and helped develop their current crop of young talent (Lamine Yamal, Cubarsi, Casado, etc).

He’d be very similar to Enzo. A serial winner as a player, but still unproven in management. Sticks to one style of play (4-3-3) and will play the Barcelona esque possession/tiki taka style that the owners like.

Moyes was bad last season and he had definitely come to the end of the line at West Ham but he's still a very capable manager and really not dissimilar to Forest's Nuno appointment. Just wonder if he can really be arsed with it already.

I'd take Conceicao or Schmidt.

Trust me we would get the Sunderland version of David Moyes.

As Brighton has proved there are hundreds out there who most of us probably couldn't even name right now.

Our hierarchy included.

West Ham defensively last season were appalling. Moyes isn't a terrible choice but we won't be significantly better at the back.

We need someone who can get our attack going more than anything.
