£20 for the actual season is too much never mind pre-season

Love how it says Just £19.99.

Just???? should be free mate. Even if it was just a Veo on Youtube.

They just can't stop getting things wrong can they?

For their sake, it was vital to engender a sense of positivity going into this season.

No signings, deadwood players still here.

Now we have the pay 20 quid for the pleasure of watching them stink the place out. And if somehow RM has already coached them into a world-beating team, we won't know because who is spending 4.99 to watch us play Northampton FFS.

Why are people complaining paying £19.99 to watch pre season matches?

We have had 23,000 people pander to top and pay for a season ticket this season around £500-£600 for LEAGUE ONE football, I really don’t blame the club for trying to get more money out of your lot!  our fans lap it up!

people moaning about £20 but happy to part with hundreds of pounds for a ST.

make it make sense

Ffs can they get anything right? It’s a few games, just make them free to watch so fans can try to get excited for the season (if we’re not shit).

I was going to watch what I thought would be free friendlies to see if a Foxeshub season pass would be worth the money 🤷

Presume this is a quick cash grab for money from Bangladesh.

I doubt any of the social media following from Bangladesh has converted into any meaningful revenue. The GDP per capita is about £2300. Instead Anthony and the new commercial shyster can say to the two new legitimate sponsor prospects they speak to a season “oh we have crazy engagement on the socials” and get an extras 0.25% on the deal

I imagine the people who are (rightly) annoyed by it aren’t the same people buying season tickets

Couple of people on Reddit defending the £20 charge. One saying something about not minding adding to the clubs coffers. Absolute insane behaviour.

There's something weird defence of the club going on at the moment about needing every penny. Therefore making such stunts as this and the sponsor by BC Game be validated. The requirement for every penny has been created by themselves.

We are at a junction as a club which illustrative across football - the old style supporter v the new style of fan.

Speaking for myself, I always regretted getting rid of my season ticket when I did and this was the chance to get it back. It doesn't mean I'm not the biggest critic of the regime there is. I'm doing it in spite of them.

I get why others can no longer give them any money though.

How did this club become so out of touch with its support?

Half of the fanbase are about ready to turn their backs on it, and they pull shit like this.

Not realising if we branched out and made ourselves viable to many multinational, reputable companies we would be able to cope without the need for this.

If they’re worried about money then that’s their own problem. The amount of money they’ve spazzed up the wall in the past few years on utter shite and extorniate wages, and now they’re coming back to us yet again with their hands out. They can **** right off. I’m sickened by the amount of season tickets sold. This was an excellent opportunity to put your money where your mouth is and give Aiyawatt and his lap dog some sleepless nights but no, our fan base has bent right over for him yet again.

this will fall on death ears though

"great chance to meet up for a pint with mates/family" so i will buy a £500 Season ticket in league one after back to back relegations for an owner that is destroying the club, right.....

I took the fact that an additional 1500 season tickets had later been put on sale as further evidence of our severe financial plight and of the need to generate as much additional revenue as possible in advance of the season starting.

The necessary cash to support essential or even the basic  day-to-day expenditure just doesn’t seem to be there. You wonder, how long can this continue?

We have 4 stands that are currently unsponsored …..surely that would be a first point of call to raise additional revenue and again potentially start to rebuild the connection with the fanbase by reaching out to businesses with strong links to Leicestershire.

Also how about each stand has its own designated charity, where the club donates a % of matchday revenue through sales of food, drink etc, it would no doubt increase the number of fans spending money at the concession stands on matchday whilst giving something back to local charities like LOROS, Lamp etc
