Just read an interesting article about Antonio Conte in the Athletic.

The guy has succeeded pretty much everywhere he has coached, but it didn't work out for him at Spurs:image.png.f35141f7e071bc9f421470cdc6d9c769.png

I think he has just nailed our last 4 or 5 years there.

Fish rots from the head is a phrase I've used repeatedly over the past 3 or 4 years. It's not just the lack of business acumen from Aiyawatt or the poor financial planning, it's the lack of presence (physically and otherwise)  the void of leadership. Vichai wouldn't have had masses of football knowledge himself but he had the balls to make big decisions. Sacking Sven and bringing Pearson back, going for Ranieri and then letting him go 7 months after our greatest day. Tough calls but the right ones.

He was known to everyone as The Boss. I doubt half the squad have even met Aiyawatt let alone have enough reverence to call him Boss.

It's all here in black and white.

You can win the Premier League and the FA Cup, but then I will have my fun.

We discussed this at our weekly kick around a few weeks ago.

This club is rotten to the core really now.

If you take away your loyalty to the club for a 2nd.

We are overcharging to watch, what is quite frankly  a basic branded item. It’s a football team but it’s no better (or even worse) than the alternatives that do the same thing.

We are the football equivalent of buying a Stanley Cup, why pay £50 to carry water?

You’ve paying to watch something that is boring, eating over priced food, drinking overpriced beverages, wearing merchandise that has most likely been put together in a sweat shop and is again, massively overpriced.

You know what, I turn a blind eye if it’s entertaining.

This is getting worse, and worse, and worse, and worse …… every single, bloody week.

One bad appointment sets you back.

How on earth do you shoot yourself in the foot and continue to do so on a frequent basis? We are almost self-destructing on purpose at this point.

If they owned a day to day business and it was struggling, then one of the offices of major assets burned down, it would raise eyebrows about potentially being an inside insurance job.

I blame King Power for this mess.

Please can they quickly fudge off.

I’ve had enough.

In the book Soccernomics it was found that success in football is dictated 90% by wage size/bill

Hilariously King Power at Leicester City appear to account for the 10%.

This surely has to be self sabotage, I’m convinced they’ve lumped on a fortune on us being relegated! Seriously though how can they not have seen appointing Russel Martin would end in failure. Just about every fan saw it and yet the so called experts are convinced he’s the right man. Madness.

When you think they were pretty much on shaky ground last season, they have kept Rudkin shuffled a few job titles, and it’s rinse and repeat just on smaller budgets. Same failings different season

Most buyers will wait till we drop further down the league to get us on the cheap, no chance Aiyawatt is getting 200m.

We've already dropped down the leagues. Another relegation would make us even harder to sell.

Utterly bewildering how quiet this thread is. Nothing changes until these are gone. I actively want us to go into administration as it's the only realistic way forwards. It's worth risking liquidation for. I already feel I haven't got a club with how King Power are running it.

Our standards as a club from top to bottom are so low and fans are included in that. We should be rioting. Forget the likes of Everton and Newcastle. Even if the likes of Crystal Palace were in our position then there would be more of a reaction from the fans.

How thick are these clowns?

Speaking prior to the Foxes' 3-1 home defeat against Peterborough, Rudkin said: "I can't make any comment on speculation. All I would say is that Khun Top is very committed here at Leicester City.

"We've witnessed that through the summer. He's very keen on the day to day running of the club, the actions we're taking with regard to the improvements we've made, from the learnings we've established.

"The ambition is still there. He's very focused, regularly in contact with us and wants to see the club progress and get promoted and see us back playing in the Premier League."

Rudkin stressed that an immediate return to the Championship remains the target, although Saturday's defeat by Peterborough left Martin's side in 17th place and already six points off the play-off positions.

"I have been part of the football leadership for a number of years and witnessed some amazing times and also some disappointing times," he added. "As part of my reflection, I accept my share of the responsibility over that period.

"It's my responsibility to ensure we learn from it and that across the footballing structure we have clear accountability.

"My focus is very much to get the club back on track and take us back to the heights of the Premier League in the future. But our immediate focus is to get promoted this season.

"The fans care about this club and it is natural for me to receive criticism. It is important that we listen, respond to that criticism and act on it."

Has anyone been in employment and seen the horrendous failure of someone like Rudkin not result in dismissal?

Top is basically a man child with the football knowledge of Gemma Collins and he just keeps him because he relies on him to say things like 442. We’re stuck with this absolute shit show.
