Who do we need next season

I’m surprised we haven’t utilized the loan market yet. It’s very possible we are waiting for the dust to settle from our recent sales to see who we need and in what position ( based on who we can afford to bring in).

It’s obviously the week before the premier league starts.
 

Preseason is done, as are silly international friendly games, where lots of subs are needed.

Highly likely that things like this will start happening for teams that need loan players now, as Managers will have decided who they want to stay around and they will let go.

Honestly may be an unpopular opinion but I’m happy we’re not being linked to a million players.

 

I’d rather we stopped making panic buys and ending up with the likes of Skipp and Coady.

• We need a CM, strong physical, mobile.
• We need another option a CF

There are other places we could do with a refresh but those are where I think we NEED somone.

 

I do also think we'll sign another keeper.

Striker and minimum one centre midfielder on loan are needed if we haven’t the funds for permanent transfers. Surely there’s good u21s lurking in big set ups at Chelsea Man City etc they are first team ready? 
 

unfortunately our u21s don’t appear to have a ready made striker coming through (Evans aside but often he plays from the right) and a lack of centre midfielders who are ready, Cartwright gone on loan and braybrooke looking not to be rated and cover I think is still around but again not rated and seems more of a right back now.

Defensive midfielder and a Striker needed. 
I struggle with the former, but would go for Fredrik Hammar.

 

Would love Franculino as the striker but happy if its Kone.

Is Davis Keillor-Dunn worth a punt? his goalscoring exploits at league one are fairly good.

2 centre mids for me now we lost ndidi and likely winks. Thats largely where the game is won and lost and we wont win much with soumare and skipp.

 

Toby Collyer from man utd is a good shout on loan they 100% want him to get minutes on loan and do not want to sell him as he is so highly rated. So someone will be getting him.

I think we need someone like Toby Collyer on loan regardless of whether Winks stays or not.

I can imagine a scenario where there are no incomings, if Justin/Coulibaly leave and no else does we have the numbers across all positions to get through the season. It’s probably a squad good enough to compete in this division and challenge for promotion but would need significant work if successful. 
 

However if BEK and Winks leave we could be in trouble. Yesterday made it clear those two are pivotal to our midfield and I’m not sure I trust those in charge to replace them adequately.
