They seem pretty confident. They've said they're on course to have the largest ever revenue in the Championship for a non-parachute payment club.

Depends how savvy their owners are.

Look at Boehly, Marinakis, Textor, etc.

Plenty of clubs just openly waving their dicks at sustainability rules using all sorts of hilarious loop holes in the laws.

I mean, even we've done it really except we've done it defensively on the back foot where as they've done it pro-actively to advance themselves.

It's not about how much money you have these days it's about how much you're allowed to spend and a lot of that takes whole levels of business intelligence and cunning that we sadly lost in a helicopter crash several years ago.

It's actually looking like a decent division. Must be years ago we played both Wednesday and United in the same season.

Some interesting derbies to look out for too as a neutral. First league meeting between Southampton and Portsmouth in how many years!?

09/10 was the last season we played Sheffield United/Weds in the same season

11/12 Portsmouth and Southampton

Proper early 2010’s vibe to this season with Ipswich/Derby/Norwich etc

Could be a few clubs with a bit of momentum and optimism this season. At the moment we don’t look a football that is geared up for a good season this time around. Guess all will become clearer as we move into July but with so much uncertainty around the manager, the players, points deduction we could be facing a slow start. Even though our current players are probably good enough for play offs if their attitude is not right we’ll be mid table, always threatening to get near the play offs but falling away.

We never had it.

Lets remember who employed Rudkin and long serving King Power CEO Susan.

King Power is a bit of a fraud really, it got lucky with a few decisions and good managers/staff. It doesn't require a huge amount of business acumen to run a duty free empire in a corrupt monopoly where the state are in your pocket. The seemingly have even managed to **** that up!

Given how Americans lap up any American representation in European football, I can imagine their revenue being pretty decent if they keep progressing.

If I was vardy, I’d be going to Sheffield Wednesday. Nothing left to prove but your team is under a ban for transfer fees. Id personally think why not try to help them out.

surely that’s better than a little money (compared to what he’s earnt) to play for Leeds or In the states

Nah.  Wednesday are going through turmoil and I'm not sure even as a lifelong fan you'd want to be associated with that period in the clubs history.  Unless of course he was able to single handedly keep them in the division.  There's a few scenarios where it's fairytale stuff, there's far more that are the stuff of nightmares.

Off the top of my head… the season we went down to league 1?

Norwich are ones to watch as well.

They seem to know what they want and are doing it. Gone out and got Manning in early from divisional rivals who finished above them this season.

They have already recognised their weaknesses and gone out to get them addressed.

They were second highest scorers in the league with Sargent and Sainz in the top 4 scorers in the league. But they were 19th for goals conceded.

So they have gone and got Darling from divisional rivals again. I thought he might get a premier league move or at least a relegated side. And now going for a CB from Ajax.

Obviously Manning and the new centre back partnership might or might not work, I know nothing about the Ajax guy. But it’s a side knowing what they need and going out getting it done.

Those dates don't look right to me🤔

How come?

Quite a few clubs send teams out to different games on same day.

We've done it before.

Apparently some clubs have financial people who keep track of the spending so there are no surprises later on. Absolutely Crazy I Know.
