We will just about avoid relegation.

Our fans will give the players a standing ovation last home game when its confirmed.

Top and Jon will deem it a successful season!

I genuinely don't think we will survive. Top left Rowett appointment too late and we've lost too many points previously that would have and should have kept uss up. We are relying on other results now as well as our own and that isnt a comfortable place to be.

I think it'll be close, but still go down by a few points. Even with the points deduction, it's stupid it's come to this. .

The thought of that makes me feel sick because you know that’s what would happen. I do still think we’re ****ed though, despite Rowett’s best efforts.

That appointment was disaster waiting to happen. Prior to Ramsay it was said there number one choice was Lee Carsley dont think hed leave his under 21s post, unless hes allowed to manage both.

West Brom big club for that level but at less attractive one a moment, recruiting for that one will be tough. Would be ironic if Marti turns up.

I can see Mowbray going back to West Brom until the end of the season.

Didn't work last time.

There's someone else who has been at West Brom before, who recently said he was well enough to go again.....

Let's face it, it was inevitable as he's was so poopy. Here's hoping they don't get a bounce now.

Well they didn't get one when he took over.

Some maths

PPG has us needing 49 to catch West Brom. After today, WBA have by far the toughest run-in.

So 5 wins

If we mirror our results and others for the remaining games from their previous fixtures.

Norwich  39+12 = 51

Pompey 39+12 = 51

Blackburn 38 + 12 = 50

West Brom 35+16 = 51

Leicester 34+16 = 50

Really not concerned by any other teams at all. Can't see us going down under Rowett, we've got some very favourable fixtures coming up and he's got the team fighting. You can still see they're low in confidence at times, but they're showing willing. Pick up a few results and that confidence should increase as well.

We've got an absolute cheat code in Mukasa. If he stays fit and we see James back soon then that's the kind of quality that any team in this league would love to have.

Hope we continue to see this momentum build.

Refreshing to have an actual manager again after a long line of coaches. Considering Rowett has had 2 away games in his first 6 days, the signs are very promising.

Are you being thrown out by the deduction?

West Brom are on 35 points out of 34 games. We're on "40" points out of 34 games.

There's not much in it, but on season long PPG, West Brom finish below us, albeit only by 0.7points :sweating:

Win at home pick up points like we have over the last week away we’ll be fine. Easier said than done though.

I am more hopeful after last night to be honest. This isn't really a two horse race - I don't think Blackburn, Portsmouth and Charlton are entirely out of it yet either.

It's the first time we've really put in a 90 minute performance and that simply has to be on the manager, because nobody has managed that all season. You do just know we're going to make it as hard for ourselves as we can though.

The result itself isn’t what I was most pleased about it was the fact we didn’t collapse in the second half. We actually came out and looked the better side.

How much of that was down to Boro being off it I don’t know but you have to give us credit for not really giving them much of a chance.
