He’d be perfect for Arsenal. Comes on for 20 mins, starts the league cup games does a job in the shit European away games.

You seen today, get the ball into the box at his feet he scores.

One of my Liverpool-supporting mates says he'd take him for exactly the same reason. And he prefers him to Nunez and will be more impactful even for 20ish minutes each game...

I would very much like to see him at a Prem club next season. As you both say, very likely to be a good sub to bring on in the last quarter of a game.

Also, to me at least, it'll be like a little bit of us has remained in the Premier league.

I would love to see him do well and approach or break other scoring records, especially  Michael Owens.

Idk what's more sad. Vardy leaving without a proper new contract negotiation or our fans having no clue about finances and talking about transfer embargos.

Anyone talking about transfer embargos doesn't really know what they are talking about. There is no precedence for it for any charge the EFL might try to hit us with.

"I saw Southampton breaking down the left and with the ref down I thought I'll blow his whistle to stop the game," Vardy said with a smile to BBC Match of the Day.

What a legend!!

Very witty , smart and likeable guy

Nice interview (and tribute) with Lineker on MOTD. Got to me a bit.

I'm not watching anymore Vardy press stuff. Sick of my lip quivering. Heart breaking.

I've been heartbroken to see certain players leave our club throughout my time. Going back to Worthington, Weller, Lineker, Cambiasso, Kante, in fact any of the 2016 immortals but absolutely none more so than Vardy.

Not ready for him to leave yet.

Presume the club will do some kind of tifo v Ipswich  for him surely?

Yeah and it'll be shite compared to what Union FS could/would do for him no doubt.

Can see him at Celtic with Kasper.

Plenty of game time, Trophies and European football.

Apparently Brendan will leave there, so

unlikely.
