If I were Ipswich, I'd 100% want him to not score and give it large. This will be proper cringe.

This isn't me saying I don't want him to. It's me recognising how much he winds up oppo teams.

Everyone's gonna be clapping and having a ball as we begin to draw the curtain on one of our most shambolic seasons ever.

KP are loving every minute of this.

This stinks so badly of 'organised fun'.

The whole statement reads like disconnected corporate bollocks.

This is about optics for King Power and club shop/international website sales.

The most 'of the people' player of his generation and a proper genuine footballer is being co-opted by King Power as they rob the fans of a far more meaningful tribute, while the club falls down around our ears.

The whole thing is pretty sickening.

Fun sponge, it’s one game and i will be delighted to cheer him off.No chance in my lifetime that i will see a more loyal player to lcfc.Be nice if he flashed his arse at Ruskin and told him to kiss it though

Only temporary. The ground will be full not due to a love of the ownership but one man who is leaving. They can't wheel him out to show off  the great man as they have been able to for the last decade.

Anti-board sentiment is growing and it won't take much, a couple of early defeats probably, to see complaints next season.

Horrible how obviously they're using this to hide behind and muffle any potential disquiet about the season.

Nonsense!

I wished we could get this going on Sunday to the tune of Goodbye My Lover by James Blunt. Will never happen but if Carlsberg did leaving anthems...

We are all dreamers and when we wake
You built our spirits, it's dreams you make
And as you move on, remember city
Remember us and all we used to be

We've seen you cry, we've seen you smile
We've watched you run for many miles
We've come so far it's f**king wild
We'd spend a lifetime with you

We know your fears and you know ours
You had your doubts but now we're fine
And we love you, we swear that's true
We cannot live without you

Goodbye our Jamie
Goodbye our friend
You have been the one
You have brought us all much glee

Goodbye our Jamie
Goodbye our friend
You have been the one
You have brought us all much glee

This is going to be like Bradman getting out for 99 in his last innings, isn't it? :(

Your cricket knowledge is out by 99, I think, if you mean the below.

"The best known moment in the career of Australia's greatest cricketer is glorious failure. Don Bradman's final innings duck in the fifth Ashes Test in 1948 at the Oval had little bearing on the match. His team won by an innings and 149 runs, clinching the series 4-0. It is failure, yet it underpins the Bradman legend."

Vardy should do his lap of honour and then leave the pitch before the board does a lap of shame

Hope he gets subbed on 70mins,and then does his lap and bows out.

We've got a bus to catch and always leave

On 80 mins to make sure.

Much like a man with orthopaedic insoles, I stand corrected.

Has this ever happened before at another club?

It is an odd situation though, I'm glad we've got the opportunity to say goodbye to him at home, and i really hope people can do the mental gymnastics needed to enjoy the occasion, not get too enraged by Thai influencers, it's not thier fault.

Anyhow Vardy's miles bigger than King Power, he unites us all, KPFC love him, UFS love him, be good if everyone could forget about the shit show of a season and who's responsible for a day, and just enjoy it for what it is.

Save Rudkin out for Bournemouth.

Maybe that's it, he wants to be in away end at Bournemouth with the fans in the prem, one last time, he loves all that and never gets to do it, skittles vodka for breakfast, go down on the coach, good old sing song, call Rudkin a bellend, night out at the sea side.

Isn't football organised fun? Isn't that what we're there for?
