He looks easy on his eye and undoubtedly has some skills….

His underlying stats won’t have big clubs with big money banging our door down…. I wouldn’t be surprised if he stayed

Hope you right and he's does stay.  Think he would be the difference maker in a promotion or not.

Imagine mavididi, el khannous and fatawu lining up in this league. Seems unfair....

Not sure a Sunderland is the move if you don't want to end up back in the championship, but if he doesn't want to be here then sell and move on

I’m all for selling him it will allow us to get a striker we desperately need and we have alves monga and even Louis page that would love to be given a chance in the 10

If he goes to Sunderland he might find himself in the same position in 12 months time. At least go to an established premier league team..

****in hell sunderland are poaching one of our best players, a nightmare how we’ve fallen

No sure he's going to go there, likely just to end up in the same place.

Sunderland are begging to get relegated with the amount of AFCON players they are signing

He would just end up in the same position next summer

Have the actually signed any african players yet?

5 of their 6 signings so far are African players who will all be very likely going to play at AFCON

Ah OK. Transfrmarkt lists all of them as french/Belgian etc. That site is getting worse.

No it’s fine, you’re just looking at the clubs they signed from

Everyone very salty about Sunderland... is it because they're making a mockery of our transfer business last summer post promotion?

To me they are proving that the ‘gap is too massive’ stuff is a nonsense. Because even sunderland can go up and sign all this top talent.

We simply didn’t have the bravery to compete. I would go as far as saying that’s our worst ever window. worse than even the champions league one.

Easily could made this season and easy one with the right attitude in the marked but cooper has utterly shafted us.

If they stay up they might have proved it. Alternatively they could very easily still get relegated having spent more than £100m which would probably tell us that the gap is indeed pretty big - we will have to wait and see.
