You have obviously never played the game at a decent standard.

Hopefully, anyone who isn't committed can go.

And Leicester are planning for the rest of the season fielding Dorris the tea lady in ... never mind, I'm just hearing reports in that Everton are in for her.

That leaves the club with just the kit boy who signed a new five year contract at 100K per shirt washed, and Soumare, Faes and Vestergaard, the latter 3 in less demand than Dorris, with Winks refusing to even turn up to the training ground...

Its believed the club are in talks to sign Vestergaard's dog on a free. They saw him last season when he turned up to training  more often than Pereira did.

To be fair Doris is worth looking at for her PG Tips alone . . .

We’ve never played the 16 year old as a 10.

If he gets the ball deep and can run at then it could really work not many 10s get to do that

You want your attacking threats closer to the goal not further away.

That was one factor that resulted in an insignificant statistical return for ol’ Bilal, because he’d end up picking up the ball inside our half and be expected to miracle something for us from there.

Apologies Mr professional. I'm pretty sure you have not either as you wouldn't be posting on FT.

BEK has not set the world alight.

He has had 1 or 2 good games where he has been the stand out performer.

He is one of the most overated players we have, I get it he is young with some flashes of brilliance but he is not amazing or as amazing as people are making out.

Guarantee anyone who disagrees with what I said that Leicester is and will be a stronger and better side without BEK and Monga as the 10.

I know we don’t really need him but from a business perspective I’d be interested to see if we could add in a discounted rak-seyki into the deal.

Fatawu is definitely going to leave in the summer, it feels inevitable. If we go up I can see a big deal and taking it to give us some psr space or we stay down and he demands to go.

I’d like the idea of using this year to bed him in and hopefully have a star for the future.

Interested by “don’t really need him”

Were only a fatawu injury away from no one decent on that side again lol

Would love him here, had a really productive spell with Sheff U last season. Would have played more if wilder didn’t have his favourites I think.

The ELK hype is partly down to RVN’s obsession with him last year even when Buonanotte was the more likely of the two to produce an actual end product. Bilal has fabulous touches but he hasn’t delivered for us to date.

So if BEK leaves that is around £60m raised and not a single link to incomings. Fans deserve to know exactly what the situation is at the club. Pretty much no chance of promotion with no proven striker or midfield playmaker.

The scary thing is, how can we possibly be so ****ed that 60m doesn't get us out of the hole when amortising a theoretical incoming signing?

Hes a winger for a start. Someone with his pace and dribbling ability to rinse a full back would be wasted at 10

No he is not.

He can play across both wings and centre however His preferred position is a 10.

The trouble with this scenario is we may not have Monga here for a long timescale.

The trouble with this response is we wouldn't have either of them here for a long period either.

I'd rather lose BEK than Monga or Fatawu for the time being.

He looks absolutey unreal cutting off the left. Wouldnt be wasting him as the guy to thread balls centrally

I think looking at how he breezes past players he would be better suited going through the middle with Mavididi and Fatawu supporting from the left and right.

We might just see this against Charlton

I don't think anyone was even thinking it let alone agreeing with it.

You're talking about playing a 16 year old in a position he's unfamiliar with in a league where they kick lumps out of you.

Is love to see it but it’s a huge risk at his age.

The silence from our owner is deafening. I'm genuinely concerned that we are in financial meltdown. 😕

The way the modern game is played is all about getting your players 1 v 1 in advanced positions.  We should be making hay with fats and Monga in the regard because opposition can’t double up on both sides and keep a solid defensive structure in the middle of the pitch (assuming we are inverting one of the full backs to force overloads in the middle).

playing Monga as a ten will expose him to much less opportunity to get 1 v 1. The central areas of the pitch are much easier to double up.  Whilst he’s strong for his age, he may well struggle to cope with the physicality in that area aswell.  The wide areas are usually less physical.  I’m not dismissing it because we’ve seen how his quick feet and short turning circle enables him to get away from defenders. But at his age I think he’s better placed out wide.
