Levi Port Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 (edited) One of Faes or Okoli, Winks or Soumare (not happening) and Justin gone and that's a good show of outgoings overall Somehow if we can get Brownhill, someone like Joao Rego, another midfielder and a striker (probably a loan) I can deal with that Edited 20 August 2025 by Levi Port 1

Pliskin Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 Selling with no incomings…. Smells a bit like asset stripping. Perhaps we are going up for sale imminently. 2
FerrisBueller Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 That serves me right for, *checks notes*, enjoying a player...

Would take that honestly. A weaker season in the championship as a trade for an ownership that hopefully actually puts some effort in. 3
ealingfox Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 Some of this money simply has to be reinvested if we are to make anything of this season. The group desperately needs fresh faces and impetus - priorities should be midfielders and a striker.
wardyfox86 Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 Didn't want to be here, that much was obvious at the weekend. Another case of club not matching the players ambition. It's getting to the point where we need 1 or 2 Championship sloggers in, ugh.
UniFox21 Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 We should be investing this in several up and coming players - £5/10m range who can come and kick on

Depends if they leave us with the macquarie debt or they're using these sales to clear it before a sale. If they leave us with it then we have to get promoted this season. whoareyaaa Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 Get rid of Fatawu and Rudkin has done well to sell all the players we actually liked with all bad apples still here bar Coady

Our midfield is repulsive to watch, if we don't bring in two now BEK is off then we're going to have serious problems all season there

We don't need to be spending more on youngsters. Spend on staff, a decent comms team, repair the connection between club and fans. No player wants to be here because the place feels rotten. 2
Swarles Barkley Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 Hopefully the money is put towards a big bonus for Rudkin and co 3
RedSoxUK Posted 20 August 2025 Posted 20 August 2025 £30m + is an INSANE amount of money for a non goalscoring 10 who is an 8 but hasn't really played as an 8, who Palace are 100% going to use as that Eze inside left 10. This obviously significantly weakens in terms of flair / general creative play but let's not pretend his numbers are in any way decent because they're not. We need players that can find the goal and BEK isn't one of them.
