JimJams Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Depends what Marti wants from our fullbacks because what we saw in a few preseason games wasn't what we saw in the game vs Wednesday. If he wants to invert the RB, Ricardo and Hamza works fine. Coulibaly is added depth for either side. LB we've got VK, Thomas, Aluko and again Coulibaly. I don't think we need to think about fullbacks.

Everton have wanted a new right back all summer after missing out on Kenny Tete. Justin wants return to Premier League. #EFC #LCFC I'd say £7m for Justin isn't too bad if it means we can keep some of our better players elsewhere in the squad. 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 We do have Ricardo, Chaudary and that guy marasca bought and the youth players. We won't be relegated due our RB cover.
Popular Post jv1 Posted 12 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 12 August 2025 If we get 7m which is all pure profit we will snap their hands off 10
Steve Earle Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Anything north of £5m would be excellent business for us. What’s going on at Rudkin Towers? Weren’t the weeks from April 20 onwards completely wasted? 1
ithuriel Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Maybe we can do a BOGOF offer and add Soumare in for free
Mickyblueeyes Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 £5-7m is ok. Do it and then concentrate on Faes. 2
scinnell Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 No brainer if that money is involved. More than happy with Ricardo, Hamza/Thomas, VK (sell if possible), Aluko as our options. Marti does not seem to want Coulibaly, so get him a loan.
Foxes96 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Good move for both parties. Plenty of cover at full back. Get him gone.
Claudio Fannieri Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Joking aside if we can move him on for £7m of pure profit on top of the deals done so far and the savings on wages it may give us more leeway in agreeing outgoing deals for players like Faes, Soumare and Daka
frany104 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 For that money he has to be sold. if we keep selling our over paid players for decent money it should hopefully mean we can keep hold of Fatawu, BEK etc 1
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Just been on Everton’s forum and they’re saying that negotiating with us (and Southampton) is like ‘talking to a brick wall’. Make of that what you will

Richmondfox Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 I’m not a fan of Hamza but he was pretty dynamic and wanted to get forward to help Abdul and provide additional support. Both Thomas and JJ are scared to pass forwards and if they do provide no overlap . Our wingers work in spite of the idiots around them,

Make of that what you will Because Rudkin uses an Amstrad fax machine. And hasn't plugged it in.
Devonfox1884 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Again, not one I’m desperate to see go, he seems a good pro and person, but £7m would be silly to turn down with his recent form, injuries and the fact he’s in his final year. 2
Claridge Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Delighted to see him leave, bang average at best
coolhandfox Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 7m is a decent fee for a very average fullback, with a history of injuries and 1 year left on his deal. 1
Fosse93 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Nice guy by all accounts, but a terrible player now. Such a shame how he’s regressed, he was bordering on world class at one point.
