Great deal money wise for a player I think we all know isn't technically good enough at this level.

 

My only minor counter is, hes one of the players that actually tries and I think may be a negative loss in the dressing room. But you cant argue with 12m of pure profit for a limited squad player.

Unpopular opinion by the looks of it but I am a little sorry he's going. Local lad who showed a lot of promise and seems like a good character. Like, really a good character, not a Conor Coady "good guy to have in the dressing room" type.

Fair play. I do think he's a very useful player to have and his attitude is absolutely spot on.

 

But £12m surely either releases the pressure on selling Bilal or can be reinvested into a first team option.

But no one is in for them. So the options we have are keep playing them, or make funds available from elsewhere and bring replacements in and stop playing them. I know what I'd rather do!
