I think the club always had one eye on selling Kasey to be honest, I said at the beginning of the window the fact he’s pure profit will be too tempting for a team needing to recoup fee’s.

Great deal money wise for a player I think we all know isn't technically good enough at this level.

My only minor counter is, hes one of the players that actually tries and I think may be a negative loss in the dressing room. But you cant argue with 12m of pure profit for a limited squad player.

Shame to see him go as I think he'll develop into a Premier League standard winger but it's decent money for him.

Surely will be able to buy a couple after this and BEK go through.

Are we missing something? Multiple clubs wanting to pay upwards of £10m.

Tempo setter from a pressing perspective attracts a lot of interest.

Lesson to learn for a lot of young lads wanting to make a career in the game.

Kasey was the least of the teams problems when we still have stinking turds like Faes, Winks, Vesty, Soumare that simply wont flush away.

Not the point. He's 4th choice in his position and can't play in any others. Shift him, and use the funds to sort the actual problems.

Fair play. I do think he's a very useful player to have and his attitude is absolutely spot on.

But £12m surely either releases the pressure on selling Bilal or can be reinvested into a first team option.

I wish Kasey all the best at Ipswich. I will miss the lad.

Interesting that McKenna sees something in him that we, evidently, do not.

Unless we are actually going to pay off the turds, the problems will still be here, they are the problems, they are stinking out the place!

Sunderland too.

8 goals, 1 assist in 56 appearances.

Wish him well but for the monies we are getting he needs to go.

But no one is in for them. So the options we have are keep playing them, or make funds available from elsewhere and bring replacements in and stop playing them. I know what I'd rather do!

I think he'll flourish in a more 'Nigel Pearson' type dressing room.

He's undoubtedly a very hard worker and a genuinely top finisher. I can see Ipswich getting their money's worth.
