You joking? I can't wait for Daka to go.

I just wanted to layer on a nice Saudi joke on top of all your other middle eastern tensions ;)

Part of me is worried that now we have "satisfied PSR" the club will no longer be looking to shift players like Daka, Faes, Kristiansen etc. Hopefully we are still open to clearing out some more of the squad.

The planets are aligning, just need Faes, Kristiansen, Winks & El Khannous to go as well and the rebuild can begin, but no players over the age of 25 or wages above £25/£30 grand a week please…

If they all go that would leave quite a bit of work to be done on incomings over the next 4 days.

I assume we have bids/loans lined up so can move fast if the players mentioned exit

Not sure who this guy is but I've seen him in some of the training videos the club posted. Looks equally as effective in front of goal as Daka, if not better. Could be worth giving him a game!

No, that's our next transfer to Wrexham.

How can he go from scoring almost a goal a game for Red Bull Salzburg to a goal a season at us? It's one of life's mysterious unanswerable questions.

I don't think its that unanswerable, Die Austrian Bundesliga just isn't as strong as Are League.

Because there's more to a footballer than your athleticism or your ability. There's loads of footballers in the lower leagues that are technically gifted (which I'm not suggesting he is btw) but just don't have the brain to cut it at the highest levels.

You've got to have the mental strength and self confidence to play in front of tens of thousands of people in a stadium and potentially millions watching world wide at home. You've got to be able to shrug off mistakes and and have enough belief in yourself, arrogance almost really, to know you're going to go back out on to the pitch and perform.

I think Daka was horrendously poorly managed when he got here. I don't think he's the only one. I think Rodgers tanked the value of our squad in more ways than one and one was definitely badly handling guys like Daka and Soumare when they arrived. It can't be easy for a striker, of all positions, to be constantly chopped in and out and in and out of the squad with little chance to really develop any kind of consistency.

But by now he's had plenty of chances and plenty of goes at it and he's just never, ever really regained the composure or self belief that he came to the club with. Comes a certain point that that's not the problem of X different managers, it's just a problem with the player. He's just not really got the mental strength to play football at this level, has he?

This is one transfer I was really excited about and one that I dont blame the club for pursuing.  On the face of it, it seemed a bit of a coup.

He has been a monumental flop.   More than anyone could have imagined.

I mean I defended him for a long time but feel he needs to go.

However, it is clear we aren’t signing anyone as there is nothing serious or reputable to indicate we are even in the market.

So what, we go through until at least January with no actual striker? As Ayew certainly isn’t one!

Be interesting to see if he does a lap of honour around the ground clapping the fans after the game.

If he scores a deflected tap in we might see the somersault one more time.

If we aren’t getting a striker in then I’d rather he stayed

Why, he doesn't offer anything. I'd rather take the money and play with 10 men!

If we offload VK, Daka and Faes this window I will streak on the B4114

Nice. I use that road everyday so I'll keep a look out for you. I can drive one handed.

Probably Bamford 🤮

Think I'd take Bamford over Daka is wages are agreeable.

Actually, I've just seen his goal return for last couple of seasons and I'm retracting that statement.
