Sadly in 2025, football isn’t about creative freedom and every team (even in non league) play Pep style football.

I actually hate that fact but relying on players to “take chances for themselves” is what Cooper did and we had no style of play and relied on moments.

Marti is actually a poor man’s Cooper, let that reality sink in 😢

It is if you look outside of our club.  Sad state of affairs that a sizable portion of our fan base keeps wanting this.  Then calling anything else lacking quality.

A sign of this is when I seen a clip from our 2-0 win vs Liverpool in title season, people thought the moment of the match was a bit of tippy tappy that led to nothing rather than Mahrez's marvellous long ball to Vardy followed by a great worldie strike.

Likewise I seem to be the only one who remembers the great counter goal away to Man City.

So far he’s not had a transfer window so it will be interesting to see what happens there, presumably if he is given funds to play with.
I certainly think there has been a shift in tactics and culture since half time in the Sheffield United match. Whether that’s been player driven or managerial who knows but we look a different team altogether.

Both - manager taking Winks and Faes out.

I do think we're getting somewhere. Nearly all the bad eggs now gone (not his fault we have 2 CBs injured and no one else to come in for Vestegaard), near enough a bench of youth lads. Winks banished (again). Scoring more goals even without a striker. A more settled team, the spine sorted with the CBs, CMs and Reid in behind the striker.

He's been here 5 months and is working for one of the worst hierarchies in the football league. I'm not saying he's perfect by any stretch but there's certainly more to get behind that there was even 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Also, at no point did he throw his toys out of the pram. He's been subject to a lot of criticism and tried to deal with it.

Next three games will highlight that or not, Ramsay back will help……another 7 would be good….

When is he back?

He will not be. We won't spend anything in January to help our ongoing PSR case.

He had 20 games, clearly the players are not as bad as most believed (shock horror) at the end of the day it’s not a master stoke he has found a formula for a few results it highlights he has underperformed. It’s only taken having one of the worst defences over the last 10 odd games to try the highly rated Nelson

He's been injured for the last 2 months

Barely 15 minutes in and the OUT posts have started lol

Never stopped from me. He doesn't fool me - I've had a few character references that are all the saying the same thing, he's a walkover discipline wise and unless we're scoring wonder goals, we're losing.

Back to being clueless. Take the worldy goals out of our recent good performances and they are still full of zero plan or idea on how we are playing. He’s useless is Cifuentes.

Missed the chance to get rid of him in November.

He limps through to Jan with the previous results.

Could finish 6-0 here today and he will still be manager in Jan with this board.

I hate this club

What a perfect result for the board to be able to deflect away from the absolute shit show off the pitch this week. Good old Marti throws in a 1st half like this, another disaster class and Top and Co have perfect opportunity to sack him and divert attention and focus.
