I missed the first half so actually don’t believe we even played that well. Presumably our standards are so low that not shit = good. Cov deserved it from the second half.

 

Remember, Marti, Thomas, Ayew etc are symptoms. The disease is Aiyawatt.

The first half showed me we have some decent players who can play some decent football. The second half showed me that we have a seriously amateur manager who cannot win a game tactically. I genuinely think with a decent manager, we would have seen that out. He just has no idea how to adapt to a changing game.

I was actually quite encouraged with how well we played first half. They didn’t have a shot on target that half.

 

 

And there were even a few minutes in the second half we did ok. But the usual frailties and lack of mental strength cost us.

 

 

its really the managers job to install the mental strength into the players.

Just when I thought I could get behind this rabble they let me down again. Is it fitness ? It's disgraceful that we can't play for 90 mins. Totally unacceptable. This must be on the manager and coaches.

This ladies and gentlemen is a product of incompetence on the boardroom. This football club shouldn’t even be playing Coventry, let alone losing to them. Absolutely disgraceful.

 

And worst of all, I don’t even feel angry, I feel numb to is all, we’ve just lost to Coventry? Who’s been irrelevant for the best part of 20-30 years…… we’re well below them in the table and a millions miles away from them of and off the pitch, and yet, and yet some will still defend Top?

Marti is useless. We clearly have players who can SOMETIMES play well for 30 minutes or a half. I have no doubt that an even half decent manager would do a better job, rather than some hipster choice who did nothing at QPR and did passably well in Scandinavia. How do you not capitalize on that first half?
 

Of course, nothing will change and he’ll still be in a job next week. Infuriating.

Notice you say best we've played under Marti in the first half, but don't credit him with the second half shit show.
