Look its a 1 year deal, thats the POSITIVE. He just won't stay fit for most the season, like when people thought Ramsay and Lascelles were good signings last time round. Its all under the pretense that they are available. All signs point to the case that he won't be!

Don't know what to think. It's good it's only a year but he has had lots of bad injuries. But we need strikers and only a month away from the league starting.

 

But of course he's a former Southampton player so that's seen as a positive by our so called recruitment team.

Perhaps look at who has scored well in the league we are in over the last few years as a starting point.

Difficult to judge without seeing who else we bring in.

 

We get him and someone younger with more potential then I dont think a 1 year deal for him in league one in rotation with more exciting players is a bad thing.

 

We go into the season with him as the clear main striker, its just another one to add to the list of incompetent decisions.
