Everyone thought France would smash the European champions but Spain were always going to be tough.

 

Deschamps, for me, has had the best squad every year but never the best team. Spain were a proper team tonight.

Their midfield is lovely to watch - Rodri and Fabian Ruiz were exceptional. Must be so demoralising to play against.

I feel differently about England this year, they have a fight and spirit, Kane in particular. I don't think I have seen him this pumped up before. I have a good feeling we will be meeting Spain (if the ref allows 🤔)

I think England have the ability to beat both. That England have shown is they can win games not playing well. Spain are also a great team, and England are proving they are too. Is day they’re both fairly even.

Argentina. England has the second best midfield left, but it’s still behind Fabian and Rodri imo. We are bigger, stronger, faster than them. Could be a threat from set plays in a tight game. Spain will win the World Cup whoever they play imo.
