He's just a British based spokesman for the currently unnamed Indian multi million / billionaires who are actually interested.

He's interested in Leicester the same way Stavaley was interested in Newcastle

Staveley was the driving force in the Newcastle transaction. Rafa introduced her to the club and she found the investment to purchase it.

Amanda and Mehrdad were sensational ambassadors for the club and without them we’d be in the complete shite.

They had to sell her shares as the Saudis/Reubens would have diluted them with the significant investments they have subsequently made which are beyond their abilities to match.

So what you're saying is that we need someone who's interested in Leicester in the same way Hitler was interested in Poland?

Or Edward I was interested in Wales?

Yes we certainly don’t want leveraged buyout

Leveraged buyouts only work if the asset you are buying is worth something!!!

The only thing I learned from his interview was that he apparently has access to a kitchen sink but is unwilling to use it!

Seriously, what a load of cliche ridden crap he’s delivering here. I expected a far more eloquent and intelligent person frankly.

Saudi executive Turki Alalshik has apparently been approached to buy City after he walked away from Derby County also mentioned by Ben Jacob’s, so long as whoever takes over shows Rudkin the Door when they take over.

The Turki Alalshik story is getting much more traction, possibly just because it’s a good click bait story but it made me look 👀 into him more.
Seems if we were bought by him we would basically be bought by the Saudi government.
Theres plenty of money 💰 but dubious morals to say the least.

It is, but from absolutely nothing…. What does sounded out even mean? It’s gone from sky asking him if he’s interested to us? There doesn't seem to be any credible sources….

Any morals apply to any billionaire looking to buy a football club, they’ve all got closets loaded with skeletons, it’s why they’re billionaires….

If there was any truth in it, on Paper he would be good, he puts his money where his mouth is, and has plenty of money making opportunities going on to make the club more self productive financially…..

The two major problems are:

His childish attitude…. He’s had plenty of public outbursts including throwing a console control at a TV…..

And isn’t he dying? He’s got terminal cancer hasn’t he?

And didn’t he pull out of Derby stating that the due diligence took too long and that he couldn’t prepare for the new season? So why the **** would he  want to start the process with us?

It would be just like Rudkin to take the Lai deal and give the Fans 2 fingers as he leaves.

Do you really think Top cares what scum he sells to?

All he wants is Dosh to prop up his family business that he's also ****ed up.

The highest bidder gets us n he's not bothered what sort of **** that is.

This is dark dark times to be a Leicester fan. Even though not in administration I think it feels darker and more desperate than those times.

At least then we had a set of performances that you could get behind.

Me and few others were telling you how shit Rudkin was at transfers etc. but apparently it was either Covid’s fault or we didn’t know the job Rudkin was doing.

More will come out as the staff who’ve been there years begin to hit the level of resentment that they can stay quiet anymore

Remember as well we were all sheep for thinking that way

Let’s be logical for a second and real. No one is going to buy us are they?

We need to pay attention to what the likes of Charlie Methven say…… he knows the lower leagues fairly well and understand where we are as a club….. you’ve even got Lal coming out saying we’ve offered what we think the club is worth at league one level.

Top isn’t going to get £200m (+ when you consider the depts behind the scenes)…. When the club is sailing perilously close to administration, and potential investor will be well aware of this…… so the question is, why on earth would you pay £200m for a club that’s going to be potentially on administration within 12 months give or take…… you’re not are you?

(Humour me) If you were buying a house, and it had been renovated and looked great, but it cost £500k because of the renovations….. post survey, if you were told that the work done was poor and needed redoing, you wouldn’t then willingly pay £500k knowing you’d have to probably spend £250-300 redoing the work already done……. You would potentially wait until the house went into auction instead and look to get it much less……

So why on earth would you buy us now when you could get us out of the whoopsie bin in about a year?

The only chance we have of being purchase, is someone like Turki, is happy to spend £400m buying the club, clearing the debts and making it financially sound, because of the potential for expansion, and our history, he sees an opportunity to marry his current sporting interests to the club, to double his revenue streams, and potentially getting that £400m back rather quickly and some……..

You're asking someone to take a monumental risk aren’t you? It just won’t happen in my opinion.

Your thinking like a normal person.

To a billionaires it not always about making money, they have brought all the usual toys, house, boats, plans and cars etc. To some football clubs as about status not making money.

American owner will be the one most focused on making a profit.

If you wait for administration, you are like going to have a club in league 2 after a 12 deduction and one that has been asset strip to pay it running cost, not sure that's appealing.

Likely someone will haggle the price down.

Doubt it. They will have to start the sifting process and there will likely be 100s of bids (ok probably 1). And Top will be playing with his horsies.

Joking aside, I don’t think we will hear much real news unless a bid is taken seriously and it’s quite far down the road.

If we aren't a shoe in for promotion (which we aren't) then the amount of money the prospective new owners will need to propr the club up for in the 3rd tier rises. There's going to be a massive stand off on price and you hope Top realises that without a sale the financial return for him and his family will be paltry.

The problem is whether the owners are happy to haggle and agree a compromise reduced sale. We saw with Chansiri at Sheffield Wednesday what can happen when an owner is too stubborn to negotiate a reduced valuation, the end result was administration.

I wouldn’t be shocked in the slightest if KP dug their heals in and refused to budge from the valuation they are willing to walk away from, there is a reason interested parties are struggling to acquire the full picture in relation to the debt and future liabilities, likelihood is once you have the full picture it makes the valuation incomprehensible.
