Leicesterpool Posted 13 August Posted 13 August Im hoping to go saturday, come down with a virus at the moment 50/50 i'll be going. Annoying 3 months of no football, then soon as the season begins i come down with this. 2
kingkasper Posted 13 August Posted 13 August Looks like all 10 outfield players will be attacking mids this season 1

Popular Post James_lcfc Posted 13 August Popular Post Posted 13 August Enough players have been recycled now that the rot should have stopped - You have to think we’ll have too much for a lot of teams in this league. Reckon we win this pretty comfortably. 5
coolhandfox Posted 13 August Posted 13 August (edited) Heard we are playing a 0-0-9-1 formation. Edited 13 August by coolhandfox
john ridley Posted 13 August Posted 13 August Tha saddest bit for me is see the headline_ "Notts County pre match thread " and knowing we've got a good chance of being turned over . 1
filthyfox Posted 13 August Posted 13 August We got relegated, they got promoted. This match should be going only one way, regardless of whether it is away or not. MASSIVE WIN

If Souttar leaves before the weekend, then hopefully get a stylistically suitable replacement in and he can go in his place. Longer term, I feel like I'd rather Aluko played right back too, but we're not going to get 2 competent centre backs in before the weekend are we. I would love to see that eleven starting Vs Notts County on Saturday. I can almost guarantee though that BDCR will worm his way into the starting 11 along with Skipp 3
FosseSpark Posted 13 August Posted 13 August I think £ for £ our squad is actually better and more balanced than it was last year. With no doubt some ins and outs at CB to come which wont weaken us. + potentially losing Page. GK: Stolarzcyk / mccarthy RB: Joseph / aluko LB: Thomas / mcfarlane CB: Souttar / faes CB: Okoli / gray CDM: Skipp / braybrooke / choudhury CAM: Chaplin / Page RW: Burns / Howell / BDR LW: Watson / Alves / Mavididi ST: Bristric / Cullen 1
Clogger_ Posted 13 August Posted 13 August Result? No idea. Just looking forward to seeing new players, and hoping Bristric is the real deal
Ashley Posted 13 August Posted 13 August New lad at work was talking to me about Bristric. He watched him last season a few times, came on as sub booked 2 minutes later. He said he will be good at this level and has a bright future however loves getting booked and there is 100% a game this season he gets red carded. I think i like the sound of him already, scores the winner and top off on Saturday? I wouldnt put it past him 😂 1
CosbehFox Posted 14 August Posted 14 August Anyone still intending to take the train despite the strike tomorrow. The last train to Leicester is just after 4.
Officer Doofy Posted 14 August Posted 14 August Im playing cricket so won't see the game. I just really hope I score the same amount of runs as we make backwards passes. 1
Tommy Fresh Posted 14 August Posted 14 August We should win but if there was ever a more Leicester game to lose then it would be against a newly promoted, local side away from home on the opening day. Imagine we either need to bag early or just have total control to keep the home crowd quiet

Gazza M Posted 14 August Posted 14 August Regardless of how much pretty passing we play, players are still going to have to put head in places it hurts and physically be up for the fight. If some have one eye on the exit still that is what worries me. 1
teblin Posted 14 August Posted 14 August Wouldn't it be nice to have a positive result and performance. Not sure if we'll get that though.
funkyrobot Posted 14 August Posted 14 August I’m assuming Chappers isn’t ready to start so.. Stoly C-Mac Soutts Oky JJ Skippy Braybro Cullo Watto Bristo Burnsy
RowlattsFox Posted 14 August Posted 14 August I shouldn't be this concerned about playing Notts County Just think they'll be up for it and it's the worst sort of game for us first up. Could have done with a simple home game to get us going. 1
