Honestly, I think this job might seem like a poisoned chalice… but whoever gets it instantly looks good because a dead dog would get more from the squad than Martin.  A 10 year old kid who picks players at random and lets them just play will be better than this. Ian Holloway would be better than this. 
Prekki would be better than this.

The appointment in the summer should’ve been a fairly simple one, a broken fanbase needed galvanising again, Challinor and Fuchs were the most perfect options to make that happen. 
 

If Challinor wanted a break, then fair enough, but as he’s still available, then he should be top priority. 
 

But I said it in this thread the other week, if Russell gets sacked and they continue to be obsessed with a possession brand, then they’ll 100% try and tempt Liam Manning back into management.

Spot on except we'll have the dream team of Hourihane and King in charge for a month or so, whilst they convince the Mandroid to come back into management, which he'll only do once we agree to give him a 5 year contract.

Rob Edward’s would be my choice all day long, but he’s better than us and League 1 - although you’d hope with the quality we’ve got it’s an easy enough fix to turn this around, back to basics…. Throw the philosophy out the door and never speak about it again

Flop & Dudkin couldn’t organise a sha g in a Brothel or a Pish up in a brewery, they’ve shown they can’t run this football club failing miserably in both recruitment and finances I’m really hopeful we don’t have to wait til the club is sold before we Get rid of that charlatan Rusty Martin !

 

Normally around where I sit there’s a few older guys saying weeks before that we should give Martin a chance to get us playing together, today following that first half the discontent around was impressive the way they were all calling for him to be sacked even singing along to the “sacked in the morning” chant echoing around the KP so at least the hatred is going deeper in the fanbase calling for the Board to get rid of Martin !
