Hi Foxes, Oxford City fan here. Looking forward to welcoming you to the MGroup. Any questions, ask away!

Wasn’t Bobby Moore your manager once?

Did you used to be Headington Town and had Ron Atkinson at centre half?

Yes to first question (they did not play at the current ground then)

Second question; that is Oxford United

Who are you hoping for in the next round?

Lol. Oxford United, obs. Then Man Utd at home in the third round. Gotta have a dream, right?

What about for the home end?

I am waiting to see... I would imagine they won't be selling home tickets to Leicester address though, if that's your plan!

Another pitch me moment!

From winning the FA Cup in 2021 to being disappointed we don’t get our big day out in Market Harborough or Anstey in round 1 in 2026 lol

Not so. The ground is on the outskirts of the city, and easier for Leicester fans to get to than Oxford United, being just off the by pass on the north of the city. Capacity is about 3000, which I think has only been reached once (in game to reach National League). There should be several hundred Leicester fans allowed -the opposite end to the bar!) If they win their game in hand they will be top of the National League north. Yes, an artificial pitch which may take some adapting to. Only just avoided relegation last season but some investment in the playing squad has improved results. Assistant coach is Paul Robinson who has played in played in Premier League for WBA 2003ff.

I think this game is a must for TV coverage.

Not far from Bicester, where my other half is from, so pretty easy to get to.

Where is best for parking? Housing estate near by? I guess the bus service doesn't go near?

Another Oxford City supporter here

As salmacis mentioned 550 tickets were allocated to St Albans for the NLS play-off when a 3,100 sell-out was expected. I would expect some similar for this game as it will presumably also sellout. However, in the National League, the away allocation was over 1,000 for a couple of games as it was never going to be a sell-out.

The only segregated game this season so far was against Morecambe, who brought around 250 fans. For all segregated games. the away fans have so far been able to buy tickets from the Oxford City website.

You will get the covered terrace behind the far goal plus the open seats on the far side. there will also be some open standing to the other side of the covered terrace. There is quite a decent bar behind the main stand for visiting supporters but the toilets are portaloos.

There is a free car park to the right of the entrance to the ground, whereas parking to the left belongs to the club and they normally charge £5. For the St Albans play-off they turned one of the hard courts into an overflow car park, whilst further parking was in a field on the opposite side of Marsh Lane.

From the city centre there are regular buses to close to the ground.

Hope this helps !

Will probably be moved to Oxford Uniteds ground for "safety reasons"

No, won’t happen, Oxford United have Stevenage at home.

The X3 will get you pretty close and the S9 will drop you right outside from the city centre. Should be enough residential parking not too far away near the hospital or in Old Marston.
