Wigston one was absolutely chocka when I drove by at 6. Cars snaking around the car park still. Drove by at around 1pm today as well and it was the same.

Have you checked to see if they’ll deliver round here? Uber eats I think it is.

I didn't realise we could get delivery here, thanks. Might suggest E pays for that, save me the pain of the queue and she still gets what she wants :)

New neighbours moved into the flat across from us and one of them got themselves locked out, so I rang the landlord to let them in but no luck.

Ended up letting her use my phone to call her partner who was at work, but no response. Then when she finally replied, I went to let her know but she'd gone AWOL.

Turns out she walked 40 minutes barefoot to her partner's work lol. Luckily managed to tell the landlord not to bother before he made the hour long drive over. Very odd.

Train from Peterborough was empty this morning, Not many people outside Kings Cross station but those that were there were pretty good at keeping 2m apart. Little coffee shop on my street is doing a one in one out thing that was working well.  It’s very quiet in Holborn but I bet it’s mayhem 10 minutes down the road on Oxford Street. Probably half of the people I’ve seen today have been wearing masks.

Is there any particular era the band/song is from?

No, could be anything. Other answers have been The Police, Eagles, Coldplay, Five Star, tears For fears, Bob Marley, Pet Shop Boys etc.

The clues might link to a song and then we can identify the band/artist.

Feel like I've won the lottery today :scarf:

Our wi-fi in the village is shit and it could be years until we get fibre. Lockdown has been a nightmare as all four of us in the house battle over limited bandwidth and my work Zoom calls crash when my boy is on Fortnite and my daughter Facetiming - it's a daily fight.

I rang EE to complain that we're not even getting our 'guaranteed' download speed of 3mb/s, and the upload is only about 0.2 mb/s so it can literally take days for a PS4 game to download or icloud photos to upload. We pay £26 per month for broadband but I'm told it'll never be any good because the phone-line/infrastructure in our village is old and crap.

EE then mentioned this mobile 4G home hub box that uses the 4G signal instead of the phone line. As it happens, the 4G phone signal is O.K. round here so I thought I'd give it a whirl. It's an extra £40 a month but i figured fvck it - anything for an easy life.

Plugged it in and it's getting download speed of about 60mb/s and upload of 20 mb/s - nearly Fibre speeds!

This could seriously change my life!!!

I officially finished uni today, my last ever exam. Feels really weird doing it at home and not celebrating with mates but somehow it’s all over!

Feels weird to read that, too.

Unless I'm confusing you with someone else (don't think I am), I'm sure that I remember exchanging the odd word with you when you were about to head off for uni......and that seems like no more than a year ago.

Showing my age.....

Good luck wherever you're headed next. Strange times into which to emerge, but I'm sure that won't last forever and you'll find something interesting to do next, if you haven't already done so.

Finished a new short(ish) script yesterday (about 30 pages) and sent it for constructive criticism to a trusted script fanatic like me. Review came back today - he'd read it last night and liked all the little observations and attention to detail in the script, but just didn't like the story. Then he said he re-read it this morning and absolutely loved it, thought it was very well written.

It's just one review on a messy first draft but it doesn't half 'maintain good feeling'. Started a different, much shorter script today. Happy days.
