Raw Dykes Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Leicester look like they have good first-team, I just wonder if their squad can cope with a few injuries to key players. This will determine whether they stay up or not. lol That WAS virtually our second team Wow. Who said that? Second team's a bit of a stretch, but we did have 3 or 4 key players out. It's amazing how people feel they can comment without doing the most basic research.

bluesbrothers Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 http://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/2f3dnl/leicester_city_1_1_arsenal/ Reddit remains a goldmine for crying Arsenal fans, and some nice praise for us from others.

Looks like it was made back in the early 90's.

We (Stoke) get 27,000. Port Vale 4,000. So not far off Leicester's 31,000." What? With that logic, we should start counting Tigers' gates in our figures. That's 12,000 on each game. We're massive. C-man Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 The comment about us not selling out in the Championship made me laugh. Have they forgotten how many used to rattle around in their dump when they were in the second tier?

Kitchandro Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 thought Tigers were 20k+? |I would see us as a two club city..Leicester is as much a rugby city as it is football edit: beat me to it :-) You must be joking. The Tigers are perennial English title challengers, European cup winners - and get the same attendances we got in league 1. It's by far and away a football city. 3
Stadt Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 A lot of fans want to visit the 92 league grounds following their team but Babylon seems to be content to just visit their forums.
HitchinFox Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 Tigers average near 20k at home games. Yes, my bad!! Should've been 21,000 - not 12,000.... In fact, just had a look at what it actually is (my 21,000 was an estimate) - and it was 22,850 last season. Like I said, we're massive...
CosbehFox Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 The comment about us not selling out in the Championship made me laugh. Have they forgotten how many used to rattle around in their dump when they were in the second tier? The days when you could hear a pin and you' have a full away end of 5k available...... That was even in the year they went up.
Raw Dykes Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 There are some pretty stupid comments on that Stoke thread. Trying to convince themselves they are a bigger club than us or Derby! ...Stoke!
Matt Posted 31 August 2014 Posted 31 August 2014 (edited) Alot of Arsenal fans just upset with Wenger and their team but alot of Arsenal fans very up their own arses with views against us - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/96910-press-bullying-wenger/?p=3125668 Their fans, just one of the reasons I despise Arsenal. Raw Dykes Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?52444-Deeney-Goal-vs-Leicester Jesus Christ Fvcking hell! Thought it was weird that you were dragging up such an old thread, then I looked at the date! That's actually a pretty sad read. I feel a bit sorry for them, really.

It's by far and away a football city I reckon if Tigers had the same size stadium as City did they'd probably fill it. They did for the Euro Cup semifinals at the Walkers and they take a fair few to Twickenham every year too. Don't think the split is 50/50 but it's not too far away.

They don't fill what they have now every week, a lot of tigers fans are from the county I'd say the city is mostly football
Vlad the Fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Plus a lot of city fans swell their numbers at Twickenham.

I thought they got in the highest attendances in the league and filled it out most times? Definitely agree with you on the City having mostly footy fans and the county rugby fans, would agree with the demographics.
