Watched The Fall based off some of the recommendations here

Enjoyed the first season, however Gillian Anderson's character was just a bitch of a person.  Couldn't stand her one bit.  Never thought I would actually hope the serial killer would kill the main cop before.

Second season is when believability started to be thrown out the door.  Not only was it thrown out, but they locked the door to make sure it couldn't get back in.  I could barely finish watching it.

You could bypass that and go straight to Ashes to Ashes because that's got Keeley Hawes in it, but as it's set in 1981 her hair and clothes are terrible

There's 3 series of Ashes to Ashes that follow it, that bring the whole thing to a conclusion. Ignore @Bellend Sebastianyou have to watch series 2 of LOM to get what's going on lol

Yes, that's good advice, I paid virtually no attention to the storyline.

 

The only series of Line of Duty I've watched is the one with her in, which I'm sure is just a coincidence

Although I has a quick watch yesterday which ended up being about half an hour until my Mrs caught me and I got a rollicking!!!

Yeah they've got the connection now that they didn't before. Paddy needs to stop shouting though!

Glad you like it. I find the incessant blokiness, the over-grown schoolboy enthusiasm and the similar accents of two of them pretty tedious. If you're really into cars, Quest's Wheeler Dealers is a million times more informative. Ed China's skills at repairing virtually any make of car of any fault is quite amazing. When Top Gear began many years ago, pre-Clarkson+May+Hamster+audience+Stig+self-loving-celeb, that also used to be informative. Since those early days, it's become plain silly.
