If you've got an iptv and you get Fox 504 from Australia. Watch a show called Bounce around mid day on Sundays. It's the only show on TV that makes me laugh out loud.

I dunno about this latest episode of LoD.

One minute there's surrenders and arrests and then the next minute at interview they're producing forensic reports and all sorts of evidence.

How can they search premises, analyze hard drives, match fingerprints, produce photo's, documents and folders in what seems like hours?

Surely it would take weeks but the programme is cut in a way that the interview seem to happen immediately after the event.

The ridiculous timelines make it all a bit OTT for me.

Still good viewing though :)

Anyone know if this is the last season?

I hope so.

There's no talk of S7 and with the main man retiring it makes sense to call it a day now IMO

They really should end it after this one

Disappointing LOD tonight. Anyone know if this is the last season?

I feel like it's lining up for it to be wrapped up after this series but I feel like there's too much in this series still to happen for just one episode, so I'm unsure.

It was a bit underwhelming tonight though. Half the episode was an interview which revealed very little.

Sometimes it feels like they are just making it up as they go along. It is quite incoherent. Like that Thurwell guy just being dead as they happen to raid his place.

Carmichael is totally corrupt, that was the obvious takeaway from the interview. It would make a lot of sense if Wise was H.

"Disgrace to the uniform" one of my favourite lines from this and last week, I'll be using that tomorrow if we don't win.

I am not sure. I think she’s ambitious and wants to get to the top, however that might take. My interpretation is that she has been told to make sure that certain lines of enquiry are kept off limits and she will be rewarded accordingly.

You might be right there - I suppose they've got a habit of making the people who you think are bad turn out to not be as bad as you initially thought. She's very hard to like even so.

I did a rewatch of the first two series' recently and it's a world away from the nonsense of the last few. It's still very watchable but they're clearly just making it up as they go along. Give it a half decent ending and have done with it.

With one episode left, we are going to end up with a bodged finale or needing another series to tie up the loose ends.

There’s a reason most crime series go for five series and call it

I reckon he's the Spanish policeman.

The only thing I can think in terms of making it quite so obvious of Carmichael's suppression is either that the narrative is Hasting's needing to go to extreme lengths to stop it, or that she's got her own investigation going on into the Chief Constable and it's so low profile she doesn't want anyone mentioning it.

I didn't mind the episode (though agree it's a world away from series 1-3, just rewatched them.) The only thing I had a gripe about was the Bond/movie-esque chase scene with Kate and Jo. Just seemed so unnecessary and OTT.

As long as the ratings are high, Line Of Duty will go on and on, it's probably a huge cash cow for the BBC and they'll milk it until it's red raw.

Yeah current series pales in comparison to the first, I'm fed up with the OCG and H stuff. They were taking the piss last series after 6 episodes of trying to find out who H was only to then do the old "lets look at the video again oh look there are 4 H's lets do another series about it" cop out.
