Tbf Sean Bean getting killed really isn't a spoiler considering how often it happens.

Yes an A list cast clearly enjoying themselves.  I don’t mind black comedies like this,  so two episodes in will stick with it.

Really enjoyed episode 2 and it’s got me hooked now after that ending

Sean Bean in it and its decent.👍🏾

Binged it over 2 nights. Excellent.

The ending suggests a second series. Hopefully with same cast.

Anyone watch series 3 of the white lotus?
I didn’t like the ending or the series in general. Much prefer series 1 and 2.

Just finished. It’s a great show, but I agree series 1 and 2 were better.

Looking forward to the new series of Black Mirror.

Watched the first episode. Was great, but I need a break after that one.

Jesus **** me christ. Just watched the first Episode of Black Mirror s7.

Not Sunday night viewing.

Me too. Thing is this happens every day in the US anyway and if the technology was available, any morality goes out the window.

Harry Potter show casting:

John Lithgow as Professor Dumbledore

Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall

Papa Essediou as Professor Snape

Luke Thallon as Professor Quirrell

Nick Frost as Hagrid

Paul Whitehouse as Filch

Harry-Potter-Cast-John-Lithgow-Janet-McT

Thallon is primarily a theatre actor and only has a couple of screened credits; McTeer has been around for years on TV, film and theatre.

Paapa Essediou will attract the most opprobrium as it’s a race swap which will actually change the context of the story (James Potter’s bullying); he’s been a rising star for a few years now and I think he’ll smash it.

Lithgow is just Lithgow. ****ing brilliant in everything he’s in. Despite being an American I think he’ll be brilliant as Dumbledore. He was brilliant as Churchill.

I knew about Frost as Hagrid a few weeks ago but Whitehouse came as a nice surprise. Both are absolutely perfect for their roles IMO.

Good casting so far. Would ****ing LOVE them to cast Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes as Arthur and Molly Weasley though both have been involved in Potter before. (Pegg in the Hogwarts game and Hynes as a voice in one of the films, I forget which). If they get Edgar Wright to direct an episode my head might explode.

I love Lithfow too. Is brilliant at both comedy as well as drama.

I have no problem with them casting a black guy as Snape, but then don't claim in all your media statements that it'll be a "faithful adaptation" of the books.
