Boro-anyone worried nige might be tempted?

Always said I'd be worried about Sheffield Wednesday or Middlesbrough, however, I cannot see it. Why would he want to leave what he has built up here?

Maybe with a decent salary, a 5 year contract, and the promise of funds to strengthen the squad in January.............

He would still say "**** No"

There's more chance of me having a full on snog with Finnegan, than Pearson going to Middlesbrough.

You are definitely bisexual.

The sensible answer is that if we were in similar positions he might well be tempted but he's onto a good thing here and the Boro job will likely come around again.

There's more chance of Finnegan posting anything other than abusive nonsense than this happening.

I'd be very, very surprised. I'm not sure, however, that it would be so much stranger than Freedman's move to Bolton, or even McGhee's move to Wolves. He has six months left on his contract here with little prospect of renewal unless we go up; if a club offered him a more lucrative, longer term deal with the promise of funds that he won't have here (not unless we're promoted first) then a lot of managers would be, and have been, tempted down-table.

Now I doubt Boro can offer those things, doubt even more so whether any substance will ever attach itself to this hypothetical... and I know, based on past evidence, that it would be an immense and most probably ill-advised gamble, but we shouldn't simply laugh it off.

Not sure he'd leave but it could be a useful bargaining chip for his agent. I find them all intolerable but they use stuff like this...

If he left for them it could ruin his career. He'd be crazy to go to them right now.
