jayfox26 Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Deeney and Barton can share stories of prison and beating up disabled people yep, gonna have some right ***** there next season. Deeney, Barton, Henry, Hill. Made me laugh the other day, they played a friendly and played 3 centre backs, Rio, Dunne and Hill. People worry that we have a lack of pace at the back, that's got to be the slowest defence ever! Needless to say they lost 2-0 haha

Super_horns Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Not sure he'd be an automatic starter if he came to us either True - even Burnley might just go with one up front. TBF I don't think Deeney kicked a disabled kid in the head - it was some student giving him stick with some drink involved. Not that its an excuse of course..
muzzy1981 Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 We have added quality to the squad without having to spend much so far, £8m on Deeney would wouldn't take the total spending that high compared to what we got for going up. I would feel a lot more confident in our ability to get plenty of goals this season with Deeney added. It maybe that we pick up a cb and cm a lot cheaper and we have the complete squad for under £25m Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RowZ Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Deeney will end up at QPR. Sick of hearing about 'Arry and his friggin QPR - seems he's shadowing NP's transfer targets. Sounds like a p*ssing contest to me - my chairman's got more dosh than you. Hope he has 'Arry with your wage bill - good luck with yer big time charlies mate and the lovely smell of Clive Christian cologne in the dressing room - bottom 6 this season for you IMO.

jayfox26 Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 But they do have Caulker though which will be good. Hill will hardly play IMO yeh Caulker is class, but they do have some shite! Wouldn't swap our squad for theirs!
Grewks Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Probably never heard of Deeney until his name was talked about a potential target. Suggests the chairman is doing the business rather than Redknapp himself - is that the way everyone works now? Austin would be first choice there playing up front on his own..so Deeney could only be a sub. No..just watford.
Nick Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 This seems all very quiet, all very quickly now. I reckon Nigel and the club have already turned their attentions elsewhere.

kingfox Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Who are "Sports Tonight Live"? Some new tv station or summit.
Dobbo54 Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 I can't see Deeney going qpr when now it looks like remy is staying
80footgiraffe Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Nigel said nothing imminent yesterday on the radio. Any news on Vardy's contract?
Strokes Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Any news on Vardy's contract? He still has one year left.
Simonb Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 qpr also linked with valbuena.. wtf.. altho deeney has qualities id rather us not spend around 8m on him.. id rather try for someone like chris martin at Derby. . be around 4 or 5m.. scores goals.. good in the air.. strong etc or offer danny graham a 1yr deal.. someone who'd be happy t be a squad player because id imagine deeneys ego cud be too much for us and wen he realises hes not in the starting 11 he seems the kind to kick off
Simonb Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 He still has one year left. I must have mis heard sumat coz I thought hed extended for 3 more yr.. obviously wrongwhat about knockaert?
Stevosevic Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 I want Deeney. Vardy Nuge Ulloa Deeney will do us fine.
MPH Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Sports Tonight Live @SportsTonightTV 21m Leicester City look set to beat QPR to the signing of Troy Deeney. Seems more likely that QPR are stuck with Remy now that Liverpool have pulled out of the Deal....
Les-TA-Jon Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Surely QPR want to have Remy anyway, he'll score a ton of goals?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Sports Tonight Live @SportsTonightTV 21m Leicester City look set to beat QPR to the signing of Troy Deeney. I wonder?
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Remember when Pearson said we had no interest in Wood ...
Marmite Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Sports Tonight Live @SportsTonightTV 21m Leicester City look set to beat QPR to the signing of Troy Deeney. Never heard of them but not really hard to put that together was it? Apparantly 3 clubs in for Deeney, Burnley, QPR and Leicester. Burnley pubicly announce they cant afford him and Remy's move to Liverpool is off so QPR are now stuck with him leaving it easy to say Leicester have beaten everyone. Maybe we were interested last week but the big price tag has probably seen us walk away. I personally think he will stay at Watford now
Jace Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Remember when Pearson said we had no interest in Wood ... Pearson probably thought he was called Woods
