foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 When will we next score a goal? will it happen this season..
Benji Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Absolute dog shit. Didn't expect anything from today but I just don't understand our tactics and mindset recently. Baffling. 4-4-2, trust your best team and stick with it. Definitely want Pearson here all season though.
Callabinho Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I've just watched the game, didn't realise that Mike Bassett was our manager...
tylesta Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 we invited southampton to attack us we need width!! i've never seen a team as static as us!
hebangsthedrums Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Defeat at Southampton was to be expected. Just worrying that we once again look devoid of ideas up top. I actually think we defended fairly well until they scored It's the next two we've got to worry about, need to win at least one of them, ideally could do with at least four points. We lose both it's going to be a long way back. Yep. Would like to see Mahrez now, Powell has been a non-event from the bench.
Unabomber Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Nigel play our best ****ing player for goodness sake. Absolutely mental.
Brooksy Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 No goals in about 3 months. No attacking threat and an absolutely gash defence. We are ****ed.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I've just watched the game, didn't realise that Mike Bassett was our manager... Benson and Hedges would of done a better job today!
deepbluedevil Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 The championship standard defence is the biggest problem. Pearson knows we're not good enough at the back, and feels we have to play defensively to try and give them cover. It's not as simple as being more positive if the whole team has no confidence in whats behind them.
Bayfox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Really want np to succeed he turned this club around twice. but this is hopeless. back to 442 please. why have we gone from having a go and getting results to trying to defend and getting beat. get beat fine but get beat offering something. lets get back to playing a settled side from now till jan and see what happens. can see him gone this week tho.
teblin Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 They are a very good side to be fair, in my opinion better than the utd side we beat 5-3. Having said that we look so flat. there doesn't seem a slight chance we might score even if we get chances. (we had 2 very good ones through wood and morgan) I'm a massive fan of pearson, but i'd rather us have a go and get beat than sit back and get beat, we have syopped doing all of the things that made us successful last season.
EGBFitness Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I feel for the fans who continue to travel in large numbers and all they get back is horrendously negative football. I wouldn't mind losing too much if we actually made a game out of it and showed some ambition. Why we changed tactically after our good start is baffling. lol that image
foxoffderby Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 the diamond doesn't work. We need Mahrez and Knocky back
DennisNedry Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Nigel on very thin ice now. If we lose the next two hugely important games, Pearson needs to go.
Swarles Barkley Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 That was dire. Not having a single shot on target is embarrassing to say the least I get southampamton are doing well but ffs theyre not world beaters, just playing well. No need to play FOUR central midfielders. We need wingers with pace like we did early on this season that can actually worry the opponent Play to our strengths not to the opponents weaknesses
m4DD0gg Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Would not be surprised to hear a story about pearson and cambiasso caught cottaging in Morrison's,
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Wrong tactics away If things haven't changed by Christmas I fear they might get rid of Pearson
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Didn't see much of the first half, but for much of the second half we looked like we were at least going to hang on for the draw. No excuse for the last 15 minutes following the goal though. Absolutely dreadful. We need to work on our home form more than anything because we'd be lucky to get anything here even if we were playing well.
The Doctor Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 2 goals in the last 6 games, 1 point from a possible 18. Starting to lose faith in Nigel now - he seems to have completely neutered a good, attacking side and turned it into the sort of shite we saw under levein and Kelly...
Fox92 Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Don't understand the change in tactics, our selection, our system at all. No width, no creativity. Do I think we should sack the manager that has turned this club around though? No. Not at all. I don't want more changes.
Buzzell Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Not one shot on target. Absolutely shocking from us.
